@ All, I have also tested in Maverick after enabling Proposed. It's working out of the box, you have to just select India With Rupee Sign as keyboard layout. The only concern that Layout doesn't show Rupee Symbol under 4. I have attached the .pdf, It only shows u2b09. I think it's bug, in other case, like European keyboard, i can see the euro sign. I am seeing the same problem with Huawei EC 1260 with Karmic + Beta + Latest updates. This is happening after upgrading Kernel from 2.6.31-11-generic #36 To 2.6.31-14-generic #48. Observation: It was working fine with 2.6.31-11-generic #36 kernel + Network Mangaer + Modem Manager. There was some random crash from Modem Manager. I have already filed bug against it [0]. But after upgrading to 2.6.31-14-generic #48. It's detect Huawei EC 1260 as usb-storage. Now NM is not dialling modem at all, I can see disconnect in available list of connection but it's not working at all. But i am able to dial modem with wvdial without any problem. Biran, Yes, i am aware with apport-collect, Nice to tool, help to collect the crash report. But my scenario is different. For example, In Bug # 339187, mixer_applet2 is utilizing 100% CPU, When i realized about that, i tried to collect all necessary data about that PID (I think apport- collect is not giving that facility) using ubuntu-bug, so i can file a bug. But LP suggest me that bug is already exist, fine. But only gave option to subscribe to that bug, not the option to upload my collected data through ubuntu-bug. Ok, Subscribed to that bug, but then i found that original reporter of the bug has not provided the enough information about that :(. So, in that case it would good if i would have attached those data, but LP doesn't gave that option. For above scenario i raised this bug. I hope you will get my point. I did that using apport-cli. But, i uploaded the report manually. So, LP / ubuntu-bug should give the facility to attached the the data to existing bug if found. Public bug reported: LP has not facility to attach the report generated by ubuntu-bug to already reported bug: For example, I got the crash report , or i want to report bug about Ubuntu on LP, So, i will collect the all necessary information through the ubuntu-bug CLI. It will automatically gathered all information to report the bug related to Pacakge / PID and redirect me to LP. But, after going to LP, Someone can found that this bug has already been filed, But reporter has not provided the necessary information. So, LP is not providing facility to attach that reports to existing reported bug. Currently, I can get out of this bug by killing the process manually. #sudo killall -9 mixer_applet2 Then, gnome-applets will ask you to reload it again, Press Reload, it should solve your problem.
