I can confirm this. FF doesn't crash always, but sometimes when one opens a page containing a textbox (= Firefox tries to check the spelling in it using Mozvoikko) it crashes. Problem is that in the file mozvoikko.config the MOZVOIKKO_FF_MAX variable is set to 4.0b8pre, but there is FF 4.0b10 in Natty. So Mozvoikko just refuses to work. Confirming in Karmic (in Finnish). However the menu entry is translated in Jaunty. Looks like the desktop file src/xsane.desktop is not used (see debian/rules file) but instead the package uses file debian/xsane.desktop. This file contains the necessary string X-Ubuntu- Gettext-Domain. I downloaded the source package and built it (apt-get source xsane and debuild) and installed the xsane-0.996-2ubuntu1-package. It installed the desktop file located under the debian directory and the menu entry was translated (.desktop file contains translations)! Then I reinstalled the package from repository the menu entry was again untranslated. There is a workaround for this bug described on report #239466: go to System - Preferences - Accessibility and deactivate the checkbox Activate accessibility (or whatever it is in English, I use my system in Finnish). You may need to log out. I can still confirm this problem in Jaunty. First plot works and when I see the window I can push the buttons etc., but when I try to close it or plot an another graph the window freezes and I have to kill it. I'm using 64-bit Jaunty and the radeon driver (card is Radeon HD 4850). On the other hand I don't see this bug on my netbook (Acer Aspire One) using Jauntys lpia-build: gnuplot works well. The graphics card is Intel Mobile 945GM. I can confirm this. Terminal is by default set to wxt and if it is used then Gnuplot freezes when I have plotted something. X11 terminal works fine. I'm using Intrepid (64bit) and Gnuplot 4.2.3-1. I wrote a patch witch changes src/Makefile.xulrunner to use pkg-config --cflags libxul-unstable and pkg-config --libs libxul-unstable. I had to use unstable because there are some necessary files in /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.0.5/unstable which are not in /usr/include/xulrunner-1.9.0.5/stable (e.g. mozilla-config.h). Thanks for your comments. Mozvoikko works with both firefox-3.0 and firefox-3.1, so I added both of these packages to dependencies. However there is no abrowser-3.0 package in the repo (only abrowser-3.1) but the version of abrowser package is 3.0.x so I added conflict to abrowser (= 3.2). Also there is no package like iceweasel-3.1 in Debian so I added conflict to iceweasel (= 3.2). Do you accept this? I'm attaching a new debdiff. [Bug 135603] Gnome power manager doesn't show battery information
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager Panel applet of gnome-power-manager doesn't show information about my battery in Gutsy. In Feisty it works well. If I click that applet and choose Laptop's battery (in Finnish), it just shows a dialog with only a title Device information (in Finnish). In Feisty it shows e.g. what is the full capacity of my battery etc. It, however, shows battery status correctly (like 50 minutes left (20%)).
