[Bug 259278] Re: knetworkmanager will no longer connect
From upstream: Just submitted a new KNetworkManager to STABLE that catches up with the new NM API. Should appear in the next 11.1 beta. Would be nice to get this in Intrepid too. ** Changed in: knetworkmanager (openSUSE) Bugwatch: Novell/SUSE Bugzilla #423493 = Novell/SUSE Bugzilla #429692 Status: Confirmed = Unknown -- knetworkmanager will no longer connect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/259278 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 99508] Re: Window titlebar displayed not right with compiz enabled
In decoration.c and gtk window decorator at some places different codepaths are taken if left_width == 0 right_width == 0. Or if one of them or the sum is 0. I think you should look in that direction. But including this fix/workaround in Hardy would be nice, as it's very annoying behavior for many people. For the theme redesign of 8.10 you should maybe base the theme on Clearlooks or a Murrine theme or anything else that doesn't need this... -- Window titlebar displayed not right with compiz enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99508 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 99508] Re: Window titlebar displayed not right with compiz enabled
Hi, I looked a bit further at the code and the theme, and this works for me: In the theme file (/usr/share/themes/Human/metacity-1/metacity-theme-1.xml) on line 28 you have this line: distance name=left_width value=0/ If you change the 0 to a 1 it works fine for me, and it looks the same. [Bug 99508] Re: Window titlebar displayed not right with compiz enabled
I can confirm the quotes from simpson-fan. When I commented out the tint lines for the three buttons in the top-right corner, it worked fine. So it would be nice if a theme expert could workaround the bug and redesign the buttons using lines, or copy them from another theme.. -- Window titlebar displayed not right with compiz enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99508 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 135833] [patch] snd-hda-intel not working with alsa 1.0.14
Public bug reported: Hi, My sound card used to work okay with alsa 1.0.13. But with Gutsy (alsa 1.0.14) it stopped working. So I asked on the alsa-devel list, and they wrote a patch for me. My sound works flawlessly with that patch, but with every kernel update I have to compile alsa-driver myself and install it. The patch is here: http://mailman.alsa-project.org/pipermail/alsa-devel/2007-July/001784.html Is it possible to include this in the kernel for Gutsy? [Bug 34334] Re: fast-user-switch-applet crashes X when switching back to original login
Running feisty. I don't know if it's the same bug, but my system hangs when I do this: - I login as user A - I use the Switch user... option to go back to the login window. - Then I login as user B - Now if I want to go back to user A, I select Switch user... again, but then I get a black screen, with only the mouse pointer visible. I can move the mouse pointer, but I can not restart X (ctrl-alt-backspace) or go to another terminal (ctrl-alt-f1). I can only reboot with Alt-SysRq-B, so I think it's a problem with gdm or X? Everything goes well if I logout first, but it's quite annoying, sometimes I forget to logout and choose switch user and everything hangs... If you need more info, or if I have to open a new bug for this, please let me know. I use latest feisty with all updates, and the binary nvidia driver -- fast-user-switch-applet crashes X when switching back to original login https://launchpad.net/bugs/34334 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 86769] Re: Synaptic proxy authentication does not work

[Bug 86769] Synaptic proxy autentication does not work
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synaptic In Edgy Eft there was one textbox to enter the http proxy settings in Synaptic, so I always used this format: username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:port Today I upgraded to Feisty, and now there is a new 'authentication button', where I can enter the proxy username and password. Great work, but, when I enter my proxy, port, username and password I get this error message: 407: proxy authentication required. So to me it looks like the proxy host and port do work, but the proxy authentication goes wrong or does not work at all. I also entered the proxy settings in the control center Network Proxy dialog, but that doesn't help. Update manager and apt-get work fine, so I think it's a Synaptic issue. ** Affects: synaptic (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Synaptic proxy autentication does not work https://launchpad.net/bugs/86769 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
