[Bug 1452186] Re: package phppgadmin (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: il sottoprocesso installato script di post-installation ha restituito lo stato di errore 1

2015-05-07 Thread Jean-Michel Vourgere
This is a problem with apache itself, and not with phppgadmin.

For some reason, /var/log/apache2/ is not writable by apache. You need
to have a working apache2 before you can set up and use phppgadmin.

Maybe you can just delete the log/apache2 directory and reinstall
apache?

Version 5.1+ds-1 of phppgadmin uses system version of libphp-adodb.

I cannot reproduce the problem here.

Do you stll experience it?

If you do, that bug should be reassigned to libphp-adodb.

The problem is because of file /etc/apache2/conf.d/phppgadmin.save that you

It prevents apache to start.
Apache must be properly set up before one can install phpphadmin.

2012-03-04 Thread Jean-Michel Vourgere
Public bug reported:

Please sync mdbtools 0.7~rc1-4 (main) from Debian testing (main)

Changelog entries since current precise version 0.7~rc1-3:

mdbtools (0.7~rc1-4) unstable; urgency=low

  * Refresh and reactivated old patches:
+ maintainermode avoids configure warning. Default is now enable.
+ treeviewmodel fixes some casting in gmdb2.
+ filelocals restricts the scope of some functions in gmdb (static).
  * Removed directory debian/oldpatches.
  * Added support for REPID (UUID) fields. Thanks Will Daniels from Ubuntu.
  * Updated patch 03_documentation:
+ better cleaning of documentation.
+ don't ignore openjade failure, even if book1.htm was generated.
+ test existence of install rather userguide.
temporary files.
  * Add "Build-Depends: docbook" so that docbook-dsssl doesn't pull alternative
docbook-xml, resulting in undetected openjade failure.
  * New patch for INSTALL to have new source loation on github.
  * New patch to fix schema support in mdb-export when using INSERT statements.
  * New patch so namespace cpp reserved keyword is not used in headers.
