Okay, now that I have a better idea of what is going on--somehow I missed the Caps Lock blink comment in the bug description. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, we will need a little more information in order to process this bug. 1. Please include the output of the command 'uname -a' in your next response. It should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're running, as well as the CPU architecture. 2. Please include the exact steps taken to reproduce this bug. Can someone please confirm that this has been fixed? I am changing this to confirmed because it was evidently was not fixed. [Bug 139513] Re: Broadcom 4306 laptop wifi card no longer scans in 2.6.22-11 on gutsy
I have a similar card, a broadcom 4318 and I have not noticed any problems. Although it is a slightly different model number. Also, I have my firmware directly in /lib/firmware/ instead of in the kernel specific folder. -- Broadcom 4306 laptop wifi card no longer scans in 2.6.22-11 on gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139513 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 141511] Re: Open / Save dialog doesn´t s how the right path in the path input
It might help to know what version of gnome you are running. You can get to this by System - About Gnome. Also, is this the save dialog, or the open dialog, or both. In gnome 2.20, I know that when you hit the Type a file name button it asks you for the specific location of the filename, not the entire path. However, I do not see a path input button. It might also help to know in what program you this occurs as some programs have custom open/save dialog implementations. -- Open / Save dialog doesn´t show the right path in the path input https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/141511 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I don't see any problem with this. [Bug 1] Re: Microsoft has a majority market share
As much as a do wish Ubuntu has a larger userbase, I cringe when I read this bug report. Microsoft having a majority market share is not a bug. This is something that in no way effects how ubuntu works or functions. If it was anyone else who filed this bug it would have been marked as invalid. Example: I file a bug that 3D graphics doesn't work without proprietary ati drivers it would immediately be marked as invalid and told to go write a better opensource driver. I hope someone else understands. -- Microsoft has a majority market share https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
