Public bug reported: I upgraded to 20.04 and during the upgrade a note appeared on screen to the effect that Oscar 1.0.1 is in a very bad inconsistent state. I went to re-install the package and got the same message and an invitation to submit a bug report. Here I am . . . Micah, I just went to Synaptic to install Adobe flashplayer and found that Synaptic shows it as already installed. What is going on here? Is it possible that the Synaptic installation process is not targeting the player properly so that firefox doesn't know it is there? John.
