[Bug 1296133] Re: Suspend and hibernate missing from KMenu and Power Management in System settings
It looks like it is a bug in upower version 0.99. I noticed that upower -d did not show can-suspend or can-hibernate with that version installed, however it showed up with 0.9.23. I downgraded from 0.99 to 0.9.23 and rebooted (with pm-utils installed), and upon reboot the sleep option was available. So, as a workaround, just try downgrading upower from 0.99 to 0.9.23 (then reboot) until the issue is resolved. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1296133 Title: Suspend and hibernate missing from KMenu and Power Management in System settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/upower/+bug/1296133/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1063338] Re: cx23885 driver will not load with native kernel in 12.10 beta 2 (kernel 3.5.0-17-generic))
I was experiencing the same issue with the cx23885 driver not loading with the 3.5.0-17 kernel. I even compiled the latest v4l-dvb modules but to no avail. I downloaded and installed the latest upstream kernel 3.6.2, and the cx23885 driver loaded properly and does work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063338 Title: cx23885 driver will not load with native kernel in 12.10 beta 2 (kernel 3.5.0-17-generic)) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1063338/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 553381] Re: tvtime can't play with Bt878
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 552060 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/552060 I am having the same issue, however I don't think it is related to the bt878 card, but instead with the LifeCam Cinema webcam. I have one of these, and when I unplug it, tvtime runs just fine. Unfortunately it's a pain to unplug the camera just to watch tv. -- tvtime can't play with Bt878 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553381 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
