[Bug 595846] [NEW] Anova Impossible with Rcmdr launch via Sciences shortcut
Public bug reported: When you launch Rcmdr 1.5-4-1ubuntu0.1 under Lucid lynx (64 bits) using Application -- Sciences -- Rcmdr, it is impossible to do ANOVA analysis. You can import data, but when launching the analysis, it says that it is impossible to find is function and that the model AnovaModel1.1 is no longer available. However, launching Rcmdr using terminal, Anova works perfectly. Since updates of python this morning, I don't have this problem anymore (yeepie). But I still don't have any icon of dvd on the desktop. But with cd i have it. [Bug 63504] Same bug in Edgy than bug 51164 of Dapper
Public bug reported: Put DVD into drive and it seems to end up at mounted at /media/usbdisk which means DVDs won't play properly. There is no icon on the desktop so it is impossible to eject the dvd. CDs are well recognized, and are playing well. The problem appears with all types of dvd (data, movie, etc...). This bug doesn't exist with Kubuntu Edgy or Kubuntu Dapper. May be this is a gnome bug. I use dapper 6.06.1 for Ubuntu and Kubuntu. I have installed it on my hard disk, and my dvd dirve is a lite-on. With Breezy I didn't have this problem.
