2016-01-18 Thread Mathias Menzer
Could KeepassX be fetched from Debian Testing or unstable? This is already
based on the KeePassX 2 branch:
https://packages.debian.org/stretch/keepassx
https://packages.debian.org/stretch/keepassx

I successfully tested installing and running this package on
Trusty/amd64 and Wily/amd64.

[Bug 1216973] [NEW] Bookmark button does not work in bookmark bar

2013-08-26 Thread Mathias Menzer
Public bug reported:

Until Firefox 22, I used to have the bookmark menu button on the right
side of my bookmarks bar. So I could add the regular used Bookmarks into
the bookmark bar and select less often used ones from the menu button
located in the bar.

Since the update to Firefox 23 in Ubuntu, the bookmarks menu is not
displayed anymore in the bookmark bar or when moved to the navigation
bar. Although, I can see it in edit mode and it works when set into
the add-on-bar. Firefox in Windows 7 does not show this behaviour, it
still works as in Firefox 22.

I did already reduce the numbers of bookmarks and folders in the
bookmarks bar so the bookmarks menu fits into the bar. I also tries
starting Firefox without any addons.

The attached picture shows the bookmarks menu button in the bookmarks
bar below the navigation bar with Add-Ons in edit mode (in german).

Would a backtrace from a logon without a crash be helpful?

[Bug 449437] Re: X useses 100% of CPU power with Intel graphics

2009-10-13 Thread Mathias Menzer
This began on my system (Intel GM965) after the upgrade from 7th october, which
came with xserver-xorg-intel 2:2.8.1-1ubuntu3
No updates since then resolved this issue.

PS: Logging off and on again resolves this issue most times.

[Bug 420345] [NEW] Starters on Gnome-Panel are moved after restart

2009-08-28 Thread Mathias Menzer
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Howto reproduce:
- Add a starters to the GNOME-Panel (eg: Applications Accessories
right-click on Terminal Add to Panel )
- A starter gets added right of the existing starters.
- Log Off
- Log On
- The newly added starter now is located between the leftmost starter (Firefox
by default) and the System menu.
When a second starter is added, this one will move between the Firefox starter
and the System menu after a restart and the previosly added starter moved back
to the right side of the rightmost starter.

Expected behaviour:
- New starters are added directly reight of the rightmost existing starter and
stay there until they are moved manually

[Bug 152879] Re: Nautilus does not warn when deleting read-only files

2009-08-24 Thread Mathias Menzer
I think a warning when moving files to the trash would be appropriate.
When the Trash is cleared, Nautilus does not warn anymore, when read-
only files are removed from there and since using the Trash is default
in Ubuntu/GNOME, there should at least be a notification when you move a
read-only file to it.

[Bug 408329] [NEW] [Wishlist] enable .bash_aliases in default installation

Currently, the .bash_aliases file is not read per default, since the apropriate
lines are commented out in .bashrc file.

Please uncomment these lines and maybe port the standard aliases to the
