[Bug 1808957] Re: Dell XPS 13 (9370) defaults to s2idle sleep/suspend instead of deep, NVMe drains lots of power under s2idle
> Having the same problem, running on a Dell XPS 13 9310. https://www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-13-9310-Ubuntu-deep-sleep- missing/m-p/8056343/highlight/true#M91204 says that deep sleep isn't supported on the 9310 so what you describe is actually expected supposedly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1808957 Title: Dell XPS 13 (9370) defaults to s2idle sleep/suspend instead of deep, NVMe drains lots of power under s2idle To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1808957/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 538648] Re: [Intel GM45] Irregular sync flashes on 8086:2a42 (Needs i915.powersave quirk)
This bug is absolutely annoying and implicitly also a security issue since I'm using apw's kernel mentioned as a workaround, so I'm not able to fetch security updates to the kernel. (workaround no. 2 is not an option since battery life is important to me.) Is there a good reason for not including the patches from apw's kernel into the official ubuntu kernels to make the flicker disappear? -- [Intel GM45] Irregular sync flashes on 8086:2a42 (Needs i915.powersave quirk) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/538648 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 131405] Re: [UNMETDEPS] okular with unmatched dependency libpoppler1-qt4
One way to circumvent this dependency bug is to install the following packages from the Feisty repo using »dpkg -i PKGNAME«: kde4libs-data_3.80.3-0ubuntu4_all.deb kdelibs5_3.80.3-0ubuntu4_i386.deb libpoppler1_0.5.4-0ubuntu8.2_i386.deb libpoppler1-qt4_0.5.4-0ubuntu8.2_i386.deb Then you can install okular just using »apt-get install okular«. [Bug 132716] Re: ATI Driver Gets Black Screen on Radeon 7500 Mobile (Regression)
I've just upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy fearing the evil black screen but it just works. This is my adapter: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M7 LW [Radeon Mobility 7500] [1002:4c57] (prog-if 00 [VGA]) I didn't even have to insert the "LVDSBiosNativeMode" option. Everything fine.
