[Bug 1793932] Re: Error on upgrade to LTS version of server

[Bug 1010349] Re: Evolution address book inaccessible without killing one time e-addressbook-factory
Same issue in 12.04, new install. For me, e-addressbook-factory was not running after I quit evolution. I re-started evolution, killed e-addressbook-factory while evolution was running and then it appeared after I exited evolution. At the moment, all is working as expected. [Bug 1007231] [NEW] Solved: exim4 smarthost error A TLS packet with unexpected length was received
Public bug reported: Only started in the last 2-3 days, exim stops delivering mail to smarthost. Logs have error: A TLS packet with unexpected length was received Same symptoms on two servers delivering mail to smarthost. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Simple solution: Create file 00_localmacros in /etc/exim4/conf.d/main Insert the following two lines into the above file: gnutls_compat_mode=true gnutls_require_protocols=NORMAL:%COMPAT:-VERS-TLS1.1:-VERS-TLS1.2 As root, run dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config (you don't need to change anything) Then it just works. More info: for me, both servers were using mail.iinet.net.au as smarthosts, but from the info on the web, it seems wider than iinet. ** Affects: gnutls13 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1007231 Title: Solved: exim4 smarthost error A TLS packet with unexpected length was received To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnutls13/+bug/1007231/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 903941] [NEW] remuco-rhythmbox plugin fails to load
Public bug reported: Fails on upgrade to oneiric. Previously working. Plugin does not work and is not displayed in plugins dialog. Seems very similar to http://code.google.com/p/remuco/issues/detail?id=177 By changing remuco.rb-plugin to remuco.plugin and by changing line 1 of it from [RB Plugin] to [Plugin] it then displays in the plugin dialog. [Bug 303546] Re: lemonpos binary doesn't include necessary SQL
I ran foul of this same bug. It would be useful to have at least an Ubuntu-specific readme in the doc directory so that you can easily determine why the program is not working. I mind less having to search around to find a file to run than having to find out why a package simply won't run at all. That said, it would seem to be the most user-friendly option to have it run the sql script at install time. If not everyone wants to run it, you could provide the option to do so. -- lemonpos binary doesn't include necessary SQL https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303546 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 358255] Re: [jaunty] Root on nvidia raid 1 mirror does not boot
I have to add my 2c. Just got a new system. Installed ubuntu with fakeraid. As above, have to type dmraid -ay at prompt and exit to boot. System otherwise runs fine. Intrepid on 2.6.27-14 generic kernel. I also had to manually load the modules during the installation process (alt installer CD). The sata raid was detected, but could not be enabled by the installer process. Going into a shell and loading the modules and activating the raid myself let me continue. -- [jaunty] Root on nvidia raid 1 mirror does not boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358255 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
