[Bug 1011676] Re: empathy-chat crashed with SIGILL in JSC::Interpreter::executeCall()
I think it is totally ok to have the new version installed. Ubuntu detects that it was installed and it just wont be updated when webkit 1.8.1. eventually reaches the official repos. I'm wondering what is commune in our install of Ubuntu, that we had this bug, and it was not reported by anybody else. Did you upgrade from Ubuntu 11.10? Do you use an nVidia grafical card, that is not supported? [Bug 985575] [NEW] network-manager won't connect on startup (DNS error)
Public bug reported: When starting up my system the network manager seems to be connected to the network, but I can't reach the internet and I can't ping any web address. There is a modification that i made with: echo "nameserver 8.8.8.8" | sudo tee /etc/resolv.conf > /dev/null in an attempt to resolve the issue. This did nothing, but you may find it in the files. [Bug 590327] [NEW] Empathy contact messages are messed up
Public bug reported: This is a really interesting one. 1.You can see in Screenshot.png that I point to a contact who has something like "És az Isten békessége etc." written in her status. But the notification bubble has nothing. 2.In Screenshot-1.png you can see the result of pointing to the contact above her and then setting the pointer back to this first contact. The message of the second contact (e.g. "Mire lehetel képes, ha etc.") is copied in the first contact's bubble. This doesn't happen with each one of my contacts in the list and it's not constrained to this one either, so it's weird. Any ideas? In my case it happens with messages composed of just 6 characters. I see no correlation between the length of my message and this bug. [Bug 559279] [NEW] Notifications flicker and appear in wrong corner
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: notify-osd When notifications appear they do so in the upper left corner of the screen, but just for a fraction of a second. Than they are at their normal position. When hovered above they are not fading, but disappearing. If the mouse is hovered out of the area, they reappear. There is no fade either. When changing volume the notification appears, but when the button is repeatedly pressed bits and peaces of white pixels (I think they are like fragments of a window opened or something, but I can't get a screen shot, it's too quick) appear around the notification bubble. Maybe the problem is not with the notify-osd, but xorg or other.
