[Bug 906298] Re: gnome-control-center crashes when bluetooth audio connects

2012-01-02 Thread PabloMDiez
Weird, I opened gnome-control-center in verbose mode in a terminal, and it
didn't have any problem.
It may be a bug with gnome-shell then.
Later tonight I'm gonna perform a few tests more.
Thanks for your answer, Sebastien!

[Bug 906298] [NEW] gnome-control-center crashes when bluetooth audio connects

2011-12-19 Thread PabloMDiez
Public bug reported:

Using:
Description:Ubuntu 11.10
Release:11.10

gnome-control-center:
  Installed: 1:3.2.2-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1:3.2.2-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1:3.2.2-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates/main amd64
Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
 1:3.2.0-0ubuntu6 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main amd64 Packages

What happens:
I've been experiencing this problem on Natty, too.
If gnome-control-center is opened, and a bluetooth audio device connects to the
computer, it crashes.
Also, when an already paired audio device connects, the audio output
automatically switchs to that device, but gnome-control-center doesn't seem
know it, so volume keys affect the internal audio, and the selected device on
audio settings is still the internal audio.

What is expected to happen:
Correctly refresh and select device on audio preferences when a bluetooth audio
device connects to the computer, without crashing.

 Status: New

[Bug 254803] [NEW] Rare chars in GMail quick reply

2008-08-04 Thread PabloMDiez
Public bug reported:

When I open a mail, and click on the quick reply text area, it expands (as
always) but shows some rare characters.
It's not important, but it's maybe a bug.

Using Ubuntu 8.04, and Firefox 3.0.1

[Bug 251351] Re: Firefox hangs while using HP website

2008-07-24 Thread PabloMDiez
Sorry, yes bug is on Firefox 3.0.0

/var/crash is empty. Even when firefox crashes.

Crash is reproducible. Steps:
1. Go to
http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_storecategory=notebooksa1=Processorv1=AMDa2=From+pricev2=%24500-%24800series_name=dv5z_series
(by example)
2. Click Customize Buy, you will go to
http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/cto.do
3. Scroll the page, click some radio buttons.. Scrolling will be slower, and
slower.
4. CPU use raises 100% and it just crash.

Firefox extensions:
Download helper 3.2
Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.5
(both disabled to test)

Plug-ins (a lot, automatically included w/firefox ubuntu install)
and Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124, also disabled. And still crashing.

Java packages installed (listed on synaptic) are shown on attachment

Regards.

[Bug 251351] [NEW] Firefox hangs while using HP website

2008-07-23 Thread PabloMDiez
Public bug reported:

$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release:8.04

App: Firefox
Website: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/cto.do
This page is to customize your future PC. To reproduce it, fist go to a
product, and click Customize and buy.

Then if you click some radio buttons, you'll get firefox hanging (fade to grey,
back to color, fade to grey, back to color...)
And if you force close it, you have to restart ubuntu ( or x ) to open it
again, because another instance is open.
