[Bug 1363313] Re: mpt2sas not loaded with LSISAS2008 card in trusty 14.04.1
Yes, I can get you the dmesg files working non-working on whichever kernels needed. Since this didn't look like a quick fix, I have a separate install on the machine that is just a disposable desktop version. That is much easier for me to make changes, but it does, of course still require a boot out of the server. The server is a production machine, though it's internal and not heavily used, so I can get some time on it most days. [Bug 1025965] [NEW] package linux-image-3.2.0-26-generic-pae 3.2.0-26.41 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Public bug reported: Whenever I try to update, I receive an error asking to do a partial update and then it's asks to restart. I keep getting this error and I am asked to report it. This has been going on for two weeks. This is the first time I've taken the time to report. Any suggestions other than reinstall Ubuntu would be great. I've tried getting the packages via the command prompt, but still get this error. [Bug 903298] [NEW] Mythbuntu EFI Install Fails
Public bug reported: As requested by superm1 in the Ubuntu Forums, I’m attempting to load MythBuntu 11.10 onto an out of the box HTPC system via an .ISO image loaded into a pendrive, configured for booting using Universal-USB-Installer-1.8.7.3. It all goes well until nearly the end when it stops on Error – Unable to load grub-efi package to /target/ …. without the boot loader …. I have reconfigured the pendrive with super_grub2_disk_hybrid_1.99b1.iso on it and an option in this program identifies other operating systems - Mythbuntu is identified on the HDD and I can then enter and set it up as normal. However I must use the Grub2 pendrive each time I boot.
