Re: [Bug 2065617] Re: GIMP crash at startup

2024-05-17 Thread Pieterjan Wintjes
Exactly,

If I stop Gimp when there are still some projects open, the crash occurs
when I restart Gimp. If I first close the projects, everything is ok

Re: [Bug 2065617] Re: GIMP crash at startup

2024-05-17 Thread Pieterjan Wintjes
Hi Michael,

Yes everytime I start the program. I get the message that '2 images were
saved, just before the crash. Would you like to recover them?'.
If I do try to recover them, they appear on the screen. Then I stop Gimp
and the crash information shows.

I just tried to end the program AFTER closing the images from the dropdown
menu 'Files' and restart Gimp, no crash in this case, so it looks like I
need to close everything before stopping Gimp.

Maybe this information helps...

[Bug 288847] [NEW] ripoff locks after 5 tracks

2008-10-24 Thread Pieterjan Wintjes
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ripoff

If you try to rip all the tracks of a cd using mp3 at a bitrate of 256
the tool seems to fall into a lock after 4 or 5 tracks. After stopping
you can retry the leftover tracks one by one, but it slows down with
every next track.

** Affects: ripoff (Ubuntu)

I have attached the screenshot, of the tool. I noticed that it still does
not work in 8.04.

Not with this tool...
But yes with the tool you describe (I only use the dutch version, the names

strange... never seen this one before... in ubuntu you can change pointers
 using
 gnome-appearance-properties
then customize (button in the lower right), then pointer (rightmost tab).
 does this work?

Re: [Bug 152719] Re: Cursor selector programm does not work

2008-08-04 Thread Pieterjan Wintjes
Dear Michael,

I am running 8.04 at this time and for changing the cursor types I use
Change Background utility started from the desktop, which works out fine.
The special program that I installed on my older 7.07 installation is no
longer of any use, I really can not tell you what it was called.
Sorry for this poor information and thank you for taking your time to look
at a problem.

Gr,
Pieterjan Wintjes

2008/8/4 Michael Nagel [EMAIL PROTECTED]

 is this still a problem?

could you try to find out how exactly the application is called and what
 package provides it?

I have not tried the Beta version of Ubuntu Hardy.
Actually I was waiting for an official release to test it. As soon as it´s
available I will test it and send you the results...

2008/4/11, Adam Niedling [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

Nevermind, I just fixed it. Is this still an issue in Hardy?
