[Bug 240282] Re: Wpa and wireless connection problems with some cards
For me WPA works fine with hardy, kernel 2.6.24-23-generic and Intel 2200BG, Edimax EW7318USB These use the built-in drivers, where both heartsmagic and Marlon Milla seem to have been using ndiswrapper and wpa supplicant. -- Wpa and wireless connection problems with some cards https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/240282 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 232237] Re: Kernel panic caused by network traffic on Edimax EW-7108PCg
Looking at the dmesg output a Xircom pcmcia card, presumably an ethernet card, was pulled and the Edimax card inserted. It would be useful to know if the problem can be reproduced without initially using the Xircom card. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Kernel panic caused by network traffic on Edimax EW-7108PCg https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/232237 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 323987] Re: Wireless card not detected
With the same kernel and card and comparing dmesg output, after line 597: parport_pc 00:08: reported by Plug and Play ACPI we have lines: [8.896482] rt61pci :03:09.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17 [8.896490] rt61pci :03:09.0: setting latency timer to 64 which are not present in the output. This would confirm that the problem relates to card detection. BTW one characteristic of these cards is that they are inclined to lift from the pci socket! ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- Wireless card not detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/323987 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
