[Bug 2079966] Re: tzdata 2024b release

[Bug 1928940] Re: snakemake fails with glpk-utils installed
I tested this again, this time in Ubuntu and with enough logging to confirm that GLPK is being run, and still can't reproduce this bug: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/742301254/buildlog_ubuntu-oracular- amd64.snakemake_7.32.4-4+ppa1_BUILDING.txt.gz (search for test_glpk_solver; it's listed as 'failed' because intentionally failing it at the end was the easiest way to get the logs shown) Do you still have this bug, and if yes, do you have more details on how to reproduce it? Note that Ubuntu's current version of snakemake only calls the ILP solver at all if there is *more than one* job that *could be run next* (given their dependencies), so neither the one-job test case in the original bug nor the 3-job-with-dependencies test case in unmodified test_glpk_solver actually test glpk. [Bug 1902857] Re: beignet error on haswell GPU
"error, type is 4592, error status is -5" is a rather generic error: those codes are CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES (on the GPU) during CL_COMMAND_NDRANGE_KERNEL (a normal OpenCL computation). The other error message ("Input/output error") doesn't match, so this probably _isn't_ 100639 ("Device or resource busy") or a simple out-of-memory ("No space left on device"). It _might_ be https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91525 (which doesn't have the second message, but it only appears if beignet was compiled with debugging messages enabled). I'm not sure what to try next. (beignet is dead upstream, and may be removed from future Debian/Ubuntu along with llvm-toolchain-9, as it doesn't work with llvm-toolchain-10. [Bug 1849374] Re: packages built for python3.8 with disabled tests, for a first binary
The python-xarray version in -proposed appears to already have these fixes, but it's instead broken because it expects a newer dask (test_dask), and on arm*, by long-standing numpy bug https://bugs.debian.org/877754 (test_datetime_reduce). The dask version in -proposed appears to fix its pandas 0.25 issues but be broken by pytest 4: it's apparently trying to write to a temporary directory that doesn't exist (test_rearrange + test_temporary_directory). This suggests the solution to these two is: - point dask test_rearrange + test_temporary_directory to somewhere that does exist (and is writable by tests) - xfail python-xarray test_datetime_reduce - attempt pandas + dask + python-xarray together snakemake hang: would it be worth retrying this to check if it always hangs / if it's always the same test? python-feather-format: has a patch in https://bugs.debian.org/943925, but note that the Breaks: ends with the next upload to *Debian*, not solely to Ubuntu ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #877754 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=877754 ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #943925 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=943925 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1849374 Title: packages built for python3.8 with disabled tests, for a first binary To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/astropy/+bug/1849374/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

On the pandas autopkgtest failures: cnvkit, python-feather-format, python-skbio, and q2-types (plus its rdep q2-cutadapt) are the expected ones, that the package has explicit Breaks for. dask, python-xarray and snakemake are unexpected. Public bug reported: Test log: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/statsmodels/disco/armhf (This is probably *not* a regression: upstream tests weren't run in 0.8.0-7.) As noted in the changelog, I attempted to disable this feature on armhf as I'd rather have an explicit error than silent nonsense. [Bug 1800752] Re: Performance degraded in Cosmic
Well spotted - BOINC "GFLOPS peak" is the theoretical 8 * compute units * max clock (not an actual speed measurement), and matches the 24 compute units clinfo reports, not the 48 compute units this GPU is supposed to have. Beignet can take this value from an internal hardcoded list (in src/cl_device_id.c, which says 48 for this GPU), but by default it prefers to ask the kernel. This change should both confirm that that's where the 24 is coming from, and change it back to 48 to allow testing whether this is the source of the slowdown (warning: untested, might crash/hang the system): --- a/src/intel/intel_driver.c +++ b/src/intel/intel_driver.c @@ -975,7 +975,7 @@ unsigned int eu_total; /* Prefer driver-queried max compute units if supported */ if (!drm_intel_get_eu_total(driver->fd, &eu_total)) - device->max_compute_unit = eu_total; + printf("kernel says %i compute units, hardcoded says %i\n", eu_total, device->max_compute_unit); else if (IS_CHERRYVIEW(device->device_id)) printf(CHV_CONFIG_WARNING); #else Procedure for recompiling a package with changes: # requires a deb-src line in /etc/apt/sources.list - if there is a commented one there, uncomment it sudo apt-get install build-essential sudo apt-get build-dep beignet apt-get source beignet cd beignet* # make your changes # the patch name this asks for can be anything, the header can be left as-is dpkg-source --commit dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc sudo dpkg -i ../beignet*.deb -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1800752 Title: Performance degraded in Cosmic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/+bug/1800752/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1354086] Re: [i5-3230] Tight pyopencl.clmath loops cause out-of-memory system hang
There are actually three separate issues here, but as (a) is already known and (b) is not a bug, I define this bug to be (c). To understand them, it is necessary to know that OpenCL computations are asynchronous: a clmath expression like "aCL=bCL+cCL" places this operation in a CommandQueue and returns without waiting for it to finish. (This is to allow the CPU to do other work during the GPU computation.) (a) Running out of memory can hang the entire system, rather than ending just the OpenCL application with CL_OUT_OF_RESOURCES. This is probably the same long-standing issue (e.g. bug 620074, bug 1504914, bug 1592813) that makes Linux out-of-memory conditions in general do this. (The integrated GPUs supported by beignet share the host's memory.) (b) In both beignet and pocl (probably all ICDs), a long sequence of allocate/deallocate operations (e.g. clmath creating a new array each operation) *without* waiting for results uses up memory, but regularly waiting for results avoids this. This is because allocating memory (clCreateBuffer) happens immediately, but the actual computations are queued, and memory can't be freed until the computations using it have finished. Hence, if many operations are queued without waiting for a result, memory allocation can run far ahead of computation, filling up the memory. This is not a bug: don't do that. Either wait for results often enough that this doesn't build up to the point of running out of memory, or (better for performance) re-use existing memory objects instead of allocating/deallocating. (To do the latter with clmath, use pyopencl.tools.MemoryPool.) While investigating this I discovered that all beignet queues are out- of-order execution even if the user requested in-order, which is a bug, but is not the cause of this issue. (c) In beignet but not pocl, a long sequence of clmath operations leaks memory, even with regular waits. To ensure that intermediate results are calculated before they are used, clmath arrays use Event objects to track dependencies. A beignet event includes references to the event(s) it depends on (https://sources.debian.org/src/beignet/1.3.2-2/src/cl_event.h/?hl=47#L40), and continues to hold these as long as the event object exists, even if it has completed and been waited for. As OpenCL objects are freed by reference counting, this means that as long as the last event in a dependency tree exists, the whole tree of (recursive) dependencies also exists, taking up memory (~20kB per event). pocl avoids this by dropping these references after completion ( https://sources.debian.org/src/pocl/1.1-5/lib/CL/devices/common.c/?hl=722#L714 ); the attached patch makes beignet do so. Checking the source suggests mesa is also affected ( https://sources.debian.org/src/mesa/18.1.3-1/src/gallium/state_trackers/clover/core/event.hpp/?hl=84#L34 ), but I don't have the hardware to try it. [Bug 1776867] Re: OpenCL-beignet EnqueueNDRangeKernel fails after multiple execution with error -5
It would have eventually, if you'd run more iterations: each iteration leaks ~450 bytes before https://cgit.freedesktop.org/beignet/commit/?id=7ae1517cfc373847f168ffb3e41b635861af19c7 but ~20,000 bytes after. I suspect the reason for this is that events no longer release exec_data.gpgpu on completion (cl_enqueue.c part of that commit), to allow profiling timestamps to be read from it. If you want a RAII interface, use opencl-clhpp-headers. (Or in theory pyopencl, but bug 1354086 also looks like an event object leak...) ** Changed in: beignet (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1776867 Title: OpenCL-beignet EnqueueNDRangeKernel fails after multiple execution with error -5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/+bug/1776867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1776867] Re: OpenCL-beignet EnqueueNDRangeKernel fails after multiple execution with error -5
The bug is technically in your code: as you never call clReleaseEvent (waiting on an event doesn't release it), you leak an event object per iteration. I suspect the beignet change exposed this bug by greatly increasing the effective size of an event object, but don't yet know how. There is a C++ interface to OpenCL (opencl-clhpp-headers) which may make this easier. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1776867 Title: OpenCL-beignet EnqueueNDRangeKernel fails after multiple execution with error -5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/+bug/1776867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1776867] Re: OpenCL-beignet EnqueueNDRangeKernel fails after multiple execution with error -5
Memory consumption rises over a run, by ~2GB by the failure point. The exact number of iterations before failure depends on the beignet version but not the matrix size. git bisect finds that this was introduced by https://cgit.freedesktop.org/beignet/commit/?id=7ae1517cfc373847f168ffb3e41b635861af19c7 (between 1.2.x and 1.3.x). However, this is a large commit and trying to revert it on 1.3.2 fails with conflicts, so this doesn't provide an immediate way to fix the problem. As a workaround, it is probably possible to compile beignet 1.2.x from source in Ubuntu 16.04 (use LLVM/Clang 3.8), but I haven't tried this. ** Changed in: beignet (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1776867 Title: OpenCL-beignet EnqueueNDRangeKernel fails after multiple execution with error -5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/+bug/1776867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1769672] Re: FTBFS on arm64+ppc64el - out of memory
Looks like it's a cumulative memory leak: over the python2 tests, memory usage increases by ~6GB. (Measured by occasionally looking at System Monitor, so I know it's more than one step, but not whether it's a few bad tests or a smaller amount on every test.) This is then freed when the python2 tests finish; I didn't wait to see whether the python3 half would repeat it. This suggests that a quick workaround would be to split the test suite into several batches: upstream actually provide a tool to do that (theano/tests/run_tests_in_batch.py), though they seem to think the need for it is Windows-specific. However, this would be hiding a real bug if the memory leak can also happen in normal use of Theano. Debian defaults to parallel builds in dh compat>=10 (theano sets this to 11), but System Monitor shows theano's tests using ~1 core of CPU. I suspect this is because Theano uses a custom test runner script (with nearly the same interface as nosetests, but dh doesn't know that). I also vaguely remember considering parallel testing in a previous release and deciding/finding it wouldn't be a good idea, but can't remember why. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1769672 Title: FTBFS on arm64+ppc64el - out of memory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/theano/+bug/1769672/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1769672] [NEW] FTBFS on arm64+ppc64el - out of memory
Public bug reported: The build logs show 16 tests running out of memory on arm64 [0] and 57 on ppc64el [1]. How much is too much, and is it a set maximum or dependent on what else the buildd is doing? A first attempt at running the same tests locally (Debian amd64, python3) gave ~300MB memory usage. The failed tests are towards the end, which suggests the possibility of a cumulative memory leak, but the PPA [2] and the original fail on exactly the same number of tests. [Bug 1668024] Re: FTBFS in -proposed
Debian beignet automatically uses the same LLVM version as mesa, to avoid crashing when OpenCL and OpenGL are used together (as LLVM lacks symbol versioning - https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=848368#46 ). Ubuntu -proposed mesa now uses LLVM 4.0, which beignet isn't compatible with (adding the dependency only makes it fail later), so this no longer works. The immediate fix is to disable this mechanism and use LLVM 3.9, as attached. (This will have the above bug if LLVM 4.0 mesa is let out of -proposed, but so would the existing beignet, built with 3.9 before mesa switched.) ** Summary changed: - Please sync beignet 1.3.0-2 (universe) from Debian unstable (main) + FTBFS in -proposed ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #848368 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=848368 ** Changed in: beignet (Ubuntu) Status: Fix Released => In Progress -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1668024 Title: FTBFS in -proposed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/beignet/+bug/1668024/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1368801] Re: libcitygml ftfs with new openscenegraph
That confirms that the problem is on the first line (i.e. LIBOSG_SHARE is being set to the empty string), but means it isn't related to the presence or absence of a multiarch suffix. The version numbers that end up in LIBOSG_VERSION appear to be only packages that are in the base/build-essential system (eg. gcc), as opposed to the ones installed as build-dependencies of libcitygml itself (eg. the libopenscenegraph100 this script is trying to find): is that all that dpkg --get-selections and/or dpkg -l list in an Ubuntu buildd setup? The simple solution would be to stop trying to autodetect the version and hardcode LIBOSG_SHARE=libopenscenegraph100, LIBOSG_VERSION=3.2.1, and (to fail the build if we forget to update these) a Build-Depends: libopenscenegraph100 (<< 3.2.2~) with a "see debian/gencontrol" comment. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368801 Title: libcitygml ftfs with new openscenegraph To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcitygml/+bug/1368801/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thanks. The connection to libcitygml is that libopenscenegraph100 and all its dependencies (including ones that are themselves OK, such as these packages) can't leave -proposed yet, because doing so would break the old libcitygml: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ProposedMigration I have posted some suggestions in bug 1368801, but can't reproduce the bug to test them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1423380 Title: Sync simgear 3.4.0-0~exp1 from Debian git, flightgear 3.4.0-0~exp1, flightgear-data 3.4.0+dfsg-0~exp1, fgrun 3.4.0-0~exp1 (universe) from Debian experimental (main) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fgrun/+bug/1423380/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1368801] Re: libcitygml ftfs with new openscenegraph
dholbach's test builds appear to have been without -proposed as they used libopenscenegraph99, which isn't multiarch (the libopenscenegraph100 in -proposed is), but I don't have any other theory for where the 19 comes from. If it is multiarch-related, the fix would be to replace the libopenscenegraph[0-9]*:.*\s*install pattern with libopenscenegraph[0-9]*[:\s].*install -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1368801 Title: libcitygml ftfs with new openscenegraph To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcitygml/+bug/1368801/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1368801] Re: libcitygml ftfs with new openscenegraph
A guess at what's going on: the first line of gencontrol is failing to find libopenscenegraph100 (possibly because the grep pattern assumes dpkg --get-selections will include the :arch suffix; does it do that if multiarch isn't on?), and the second line is hence extracting the version numbers of _everything_ installed.

I can't reproduce this problem: on my system (dpkg-buildpackage -b with fakeroot, in amd64 vivid+vivid-proposed chroot on Debian kernel) it builds successfully (log attached). The libcitygml breakage has already been fixed in Debian (as https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=763047 ), so syncing that package and rebuilding openscenegraph's other dependencies should fix that problem. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #763047 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=763047 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1423380 Title: Sync simgear 3.4.0-0~exp1 from Debian git, flightgear 3.4.0-0~exp1, flightgear-data 3.4.0+dfsg-0~exp1, fgrun 3.4.0-0~exp1 (universe) from Debian experimental (main) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fgrun/+bug/1423380/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

That's not the version of simgear I asked for: we're skipping over 3.2 and going straight to 3.4, but due to NEW queue delays this is only in Debian git, not Debian main archive. The install failure looks like you built it on a system with -proposed enabled then tried to install it with -proposed disabled, which failed because openscenegraph is currently changing soname (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openscenegraph). When we did that transition in Debian it was a straightforward rebuild, but on Ubuntu it appears to be blocked by libcitygml being broken ( http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/proposed- migration/update_excuses.html https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libcitygml/0.14+svn134-1+3p2p0ubuntu1 ).

Sorry, upstream explicitly don't want bug reports for cards older than nv30 (yours is nv18, current is ~nv120): http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/MesaDrivers/ Changing the error message (at http://sources.debian.net/src/mesa/10.3.2-1/src/mesa/drivers/dri/nouveau/nv10_render.c/#L104 ) to something more useful, e.g. - assert(0); + assert(0 && "This application requires GLdouble vertex buffers, which your graphics card does not support. Try software rendering (LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 )."); is probably about all that is reasonable to do as a Debian/Ubuntu patch. ** Tags removed: quantal third-party-packages ** Tags added: patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1079011 Title: stellarium assert failure: nv10_state_fb.c:50: get_rt_format: Assertion `0' failed. [Bug 1079011] Re: stellarium assert failure: nv10_state_fb.c:50: get_rt_format: Assertion `0' failed.
The error occurs because nv10 (the driver used for this card) declares VBO support (extension GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object) but only supports VBOs of int8, int16 and float (not double) types, and the application is trying to draw data of type double. Given that the double type is part of the OpenGL spec, that would appear to be a bug in mesa, not the application. The easy fix would be "don't declare VBO support on those cards", but that would slow down many other applications, and break any that require this feature. An alternative would be a software fallback that reads back the VBO data and draws it as either a client-side array or individual primitives (which would probably be even slower, but only applications that actually use doubles would take the penalty), but that might be more work than is reasonable to do for little benefit: stellarium and other QtOpenGL applications will lose OpenGL 1 support in the upcoming Qt 5 transition anyway, and flightgear would probably be unusably slow on such old hardware even if it didn't crash. As an immediate workaround, you can use software rendering with LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 stellarium (perhaps the error message should suggest that?), but expect that to be slow. I will report this upstream. ** Changed in: stellarium (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Changed in: flightgear (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Changed in: mesa (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1079011 Title: stellarium assert failure: nv10_state_fb.c:50: get_rt_format: Assertion `0' failed. (Sorry about the repeated questions: that's the nature of debugging a problem that only happens on hardware I don't have.) That looks like either a bad GLcontext (at the error location it is only looking at this internal structure, not the objects to be drawn), or an attempt to use VBO (an OpenGL 1.5 feature) on an OpenGL 1.2 card. That also appears to mean "invalid format", so is probably the same bug. > For whatever it's worth, I did the routine you described. The Stellarium > startup screen appeared but didn't disappear. That's expected when something crashes under a debugger: please switch back to the debugger window (Alt+Tab), type "thread apply all bt full" and post the output. [Bug 1239792] Re: missing page for glBegin
This is not a bug: the OpenGL 4.x Reference documents the OpenGL 4 core context, which does not include the deprecated functions such as glBegin. These functions are still available in OpenGL 4 compatibility contexts and are documented at https://www.opengl.org/sdk/docs/man2/ , but be aware that they are generally less efficient. ** Changed in: khronos-opengl-man4 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1239792 Title: missing page for glBegin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/khronos-opengl-man4/+bug/1239792/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1392737] Re: Missing cl_egl.h
This was because prior to 1.2-svn26009 the package used an explicit list of what files to include ( http://sources.debian.net/src/khronos-opencl- headers/1.2-2013.06.28-2~bpo70%2B1/debian/rules/#L14 ) which did not include cl_egl.h; this has now been fixed. As this package has no dependencies, installing the Vivid 1.2-svn26009 package in Trusty will probably work. ** Changed in: khronos-opencl-headers (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1392737 Title: Missing cl_egl.h To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/khronos-opencl-headers/+bug/1392737/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1319827] Re: package flightgear-data-ai (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: cannot copy extracted data for './usr/share/games/flightgear/AI/Aircraft/747-400/Textures/SingaporeAirlines/744.
The log contains "dpkg-deb (subprocess): decompressing archive member: lzma error: compressed data is corrupt", which suggests this is a hardware (disk or memory) problem, not a bug; hence, I am closing it. "sudo apt-get clean" then retrying the install should fix the package, but be aware that the faulty hardware may be corrupting other data on the system. You can use memtest86+ on the boot menu to test memory. ** Changed in: flightgear-data (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1319827 Title: package flightgear-data-ai (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: cannot copy extracted data for './usr/share/games/flightgear/AI/Aircraft/747-400/Textures/SingaporeAirlines/744.png' to '/usr/share/games/flightgear/AI/Aircraft/747-400/Textures/SingaporeAirlines/744.png .dpkg-new': unexpected end of file or stream To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flightgear-data/+bug/1319827/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1308338] Re: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS -> 14.04 LTS upgrade fails if Flight Gear installed
This isn't a flightgear bug, it's an apt/ubuntu-release-upgrader bug, and according to #8 is already fixed (in later releases, obviously this won't help 12.04 -> 14.04). Removing flightgear and reinstalling it after the upgrade should be fine as a workaround, since flightgear would be being upgraded anyway. ** Also affects: apt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: apt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released ** Changed in: flightgear (Ubuntu) Status: Triaged => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1308338 Title: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS -> 14.04 LTS upgrade fails if Flight Gear installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/1308338/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
