[Bug 1527444] Re: Intel 7260 Wifi not working on Ubuntu 15.10
I'm sorry but I replaced my wifi card with an old one I had to be able to use the wifi. So I'm unable to further test this for the moment. At first I was assuming that the problem was related to the software since it started happening after I moved to Ubuntu 15.10, but know I'm starting to think it might be related to the hardware since it seems I'm the only one having this issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1527444 Title: Intel 7260 Wifi not working on Ubuntu 15.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1527444/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1527444] Re: Intel 7260 Wifi not working on Ubuntu 15.10
Thanks again for your help Christopher. I've updated the version of the BIOS. Below you can see the output of the command you asked: # dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date A12 11/05/2015 Unfortunately as far as I can test this change didn't affect the issue with the wifi. The problem remains the same. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1527444 Title: Intel 7260 Wifi not working on Ubuntu 15.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1527444/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Hi, I guess I have the same issue. I also have a Dell Studio 1558 and the internal microphone (the one beside the camera) stopped working after I upgraded to Natty. I never had problems with the internal microphone before on Maverick or previous versions. How to enable it through alsamixer? Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Below a comment by ortylp proposing a workaround for this bug. I'm copying it here since I marked the bug he reported (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtkpod/+bug/672254) as a duplicate of this one. Files from http://www.softwarefreedom.org/feeds/podcast-ogg/ cannot be converted to mp3. The script /usr/share/gtkpod/scripts/convert-2mp3.sh needs adjustments. It seems, that lame does not understand file format sent on stdout by oggdec Saving data to intermediate .wav file solves the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/646871 Title: convert-2mp3.sh error 6 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 202089] Re: Pulseaudio is blocking normal sound after resume
I think I have the same problem. I'm running a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04 64bits on a HP Pavilion DV6338se. I've attached the lspci -vvnn and dmesg in case this can be helpful. Re: [Bug 151050] Re: USB core crash. Irq7 error
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 123853 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123853 Hi Damian, I was using the options noapic nolapic noirqpoll with the Ubuntu 7.04 32bits and now I'm using the same options with Ubuntu 7.10 64bits.
