[Bug 544952] Re: Cannot read from DVD drive
It seems to have been a transient hardware issue; while rebooting to the karmic kernel fixed the read errors for a little while, the drive stopped working again soon after (to the point where it was claiming to be a "DWDRAM"). A complete shutdown fixed the problem, and I haven't had any significant problems with it since, and am again running the latest lucid kernel. -- Cannot read from DVD drive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544952 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 463316] Re: IWLAGN 4965abg MAC is in deep sleep
Is this related to 7d930bc33653d5592dc386a76a38f39c2e962344? Apparently there were reports of problems after deauthenticating that were fixed by reverting that commit. Whether it's related to that commit or not, I'm seeing a very similar problem with 2.6.31-15-generic. It seems to start after the following in dmesg: [18363.512539] No probe response from AP 00:17:31:ae:21:6f after 500ms, disconnecting.
