[Bug 1388743] Re: iOS 8.1 - Could not start com.apple.mobile.installation_proxy!

2014-12-14 Thread Sebastian F
I have build libimobiledevice5 1.1.7 from Debian experimental. I wasn't able to
build usbmuxd 1.1.0 because of dependency problems, however. With only
libimobiledevice-1.1.7 I still get the same error, so I guess both
libimobiledevice and usbmuxd need an update.
On a current Archlinux installation with libimobiledevice-1.1.7 and
usbmuxd-1.1.0 things work as expected and I can access the installed
applications on my iPhone (currently iOS 8.1.2).
Both packages seem to be stuck in experimental, so I don't know if it's
possible to backport them right now.

** Package changed: ideviceinstaller (Ubuntu) = libimobiledevice
(Ubuntu)

[Bug 1283003] Re: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates

2014-06-26 Thread Sebastian F
@cschramm
The package from your PPA (version 1.23-git201406261335-deb-1) works for me (on
XFCE, no gnome-bluetooth installed). Pairing with speakers is possible and i'm
able to select them in pavucontrol and play back audio.
I have to do this manually, so the PulseAudio manager plugin doesn't seem to
work, yet (I have Move streams and Make default sink enabled).

Upon connect I get the following error in syslog:
Jun 26 15:21:33 laptop pulseaudio[1364]: [pulseaudio]
module-bluetooth-device.c: Failed to acquire transport
/org/bluez/753/hci0/dev_00_0D_18_A0_16_50/fd2

and upon disconnect:

[Bug 1283003] Re: [Bluetooth + 14.04] Bluetooth headsets are not working after last couple of updates

2014-06-20 Thread Sebastian F
With the Blueman package from Davids PPA, I'm able to connect with my bluetooth
speakers again. I only have to choose them manually as default output.
On a sidenote: The Blueman deb should depend on pulseaudio-module-bluetooth. I
removed it previously (or it isn't even installed as default on Xubuntu, I'll
have to check that). So people testing this package: make sure you have
pulseaudio-module-bluetooth installed, if it doesn't work.

[Bug 1278168] Re: glxinfo Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig afer upgrade to xserver-xorg 1.15 (radeon)

2014-02-10 Thread Sebastian F
I could fix this problem by removing xserver-xorg-video-* except
ati/radeon/modesetting.
Now I can reproduce the bug by installing xserver-xorg-video-vesa, so I suppose
this is caused somehow by incorrect module initialisation. Looking at
Xorg.0.log doesn't give me a hint, though.
I attached Xorg.0.log_noerror (xserver-xorg-video-vesa not installed)

[Bug 1278168] [NEW] glxinfo Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig afer upgrade to xserver-xorg 1.15 (radeon)

2014-02-09 Thread Sebastian F
Public bug reported:

I use xserver-xorg-video-radeon (on a Radeon HD 5770) , so far without
problems. After the upgrade to xserver-xorg 1.15 kwin wasn't able to switch to
it's OpenGL backend anymore and used XRender instead. kwin isn't very
informative why GL failed, however running glxinfo shows
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig

I don't know where the problem comes from, I don't get any other GLX-
related errors

[Bug 1233741] Re: plasma-nm asks for a wlan password after every login, even when already connected

2013-10-02 Thread Sebastian F
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1232153 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1232153

Correction: The connection doesn't establish fully, as described
initially. Only the plasma-nm icon shows as connected.

Setting All users may connect to this network prevents plasma-nm from
asking for a secret on every login.

2013-10-01 Thread Sebastian F
Public bug reported:

After every login, plasma-nm shows a dialog window, which asks for my WLAN
password, although the connection to my router is already established. When I
click on cancel, the connection get's terminated, with the error no secrets

Deleting and re-adding of the connection doesn't fix this behaviour.
