[Bug 1044801] [NEW] [Gnome-Control-Center] ticking for backport updates erase the sources.list

2012-09-01 Thread SebastienManen
Public bug reported:

This is how to reproduce the bug.
1-go to "system parameter" in top left corner menu (or launch
gnome-control-center in a terminal).
2-in the panel "updates" just tick as if you want to add quantal-proposed or
quantal-backport repositories.

By doing this, it will modified the file /etc/apt/sources.list .

I give 2 files :
sources.list.init : sources.list before i add quantal-proposed
sources.list.modified : sources.list after i add quantal-proposed

luckily, the sources.list is saved before the modification and the
command mv sources.list.save sources.list resolve the problem.

I run gnome shell but precise pangolin is running in virtualbox. And the
bug occurs in virtualbox. I don't think this bug is related to gnome
shell.

[Bug 822605] Re: [dash] "View photos" in the dash launches default image viewer instead of shotwell

2011-08-31 Thread SebastienManen
Thank you Alberto for your help. I've tried to do what you suggest and it
effectively correct the "bug". The question now is why gwibber is defined as
the default photo browser ?
Anyway that shouldn't be hard to correct this ! :)

I'm also concerned by this bug (today) but I'm not using any ppa. I
don't use synaptic neither. But it happened after running "apt-get
update" and "apt-get upgrade". So it seems to be related to update
process.

[Bug 771998] Re: [Launcher]Should indicate all applications opened

Yes but only for the appli in the foreground ! In the picture I've got nautilus
and terminal opened (see on the right) but no mark (white triangle) on the icon
of both applications. I think it's a difference between unity and unity-2d.
If you look at this screenshot
http://monroega.us/cityhall/gallery/ubuntu_natty_places-files.png there are two
marks (one for nautilus and one for gnome-terminal).

In the screen I have a nautilus window and a terminal. No information on the
