[Bug 1005573] Re: Apport should not present the user with non-actionable information
I am affected by this as well. When clicking the Show Details button in the error message, I get to see: ExecutablePath /usr/share/apport/apport-gpu-error-intel.py If this is the same for you, than this bug is perhaps a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xdiagnose/+bug/997470 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005573 Title: Apport should not present the user with non-actionable information To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/apport/+bug/1005573/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 968268] Re: Cannot permanently add wallpaper to 'Pictures Folder'
I don't get it. So there isn't actually a folder which contains the pictures that are in the Pictures Folder from the drop down menu? In my case there is a picutre that seems to be stuck in the Pictures Folder forever: it is some old background that I had. No Idea how it got in the 'folder', and no idea how to remove it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/968268 Title: Cannot permanently add wallpaper to 'Pictures Folder' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/968268/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 995840] Re: When laptop lid is closed screen locks even if it should not
I am effected by this as well. Possible workaround: In System Settings Brightness and Lock switch off 'Lock'. The downside is that your system also cannot lock anymore after a set time. [Bug 995840] Re: When laptop lid is closed screen locks even if it should not
@ Florin In the power settings I also tested the option to suspend when the lid is closed. I tried this once and all seemed to work properly. In this test I didn't even have to give a password because I unchecked Require my password when waking from suspend. This box apparanly only effects the suspend situation. So there is an option to wake up without password from a suspend, but not after a simple close+open of the lid. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995840 Title: When laptop lid is closed screen locks even if it should not To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/995840/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 872054] Re: Cannot shutdown/restart with multiple users logged in
I am affected by this as well in 12.04 and in 11.10 before that. If this is not a bug then at least a flawed design. The interface is such that intuitively you do not log out, but just point and click to switch to the desired user account. This then leaves you unintentionally with multiple users logged in, and when you (administrator) want to shut down you are in trouble. I think this bug/flaw has nothing to do with Oneric / 32 bit. I think it effects everybody. It should be very easy to reproduce by switching to Guest Session, then switch back (without log-out), and then try to shut down. There should be a solution for this. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/872054 Title: Cannot shutdown/restart with multiple users logged in To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-session/+bug/872054/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
