[Bug 1082110]

2024-05-28 Thread Silvain Dupertuis
Ok, I installed the last build, as instructed (the first time I try this
procedure), and tested adding endnotes.
Nothing has changed.
Endnotes are still on a separate page at the end (with the possibility to
define a title in the specific endnote page header).

2022-05-09 Thread Silvain Dupertuis
Same problem for me.

[Bug 1947887] [NEW] xsane freees on drop-down widgets

2021-10-20 Thread Silvain Dupertuis
Public bug reported:

I have been using xsane for years on Ubuntu (now 20.04).
Using xsane 0.999-8ubuntu2.1, packages xsane and xsane-common
It started to get a problem with the drop down widgets a long time ago (I
suspect it was when I upgraded Ubuntu 18-04 →20.04)

Depending on which type of scan (mainly with the option multipage), xsane
freezes when trying a selection with the different drop down menus, and can
only be killed manually.
If one uses the keyboard (Tab to select the menu, space-bar to open the
selected menu and arrows to select an option), it works ok. But to select the
size in the preview window, one needs to press Tab 11 times to reach it… very
unpractical !

Indications :

Launching xsane on the command ine, I get the error
IA__gdk_drawable_unref: assertion 'GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed
but everything seems to works normally using the "save" option.

If I select “multipage”, then try to adjust the resolution with the drop down
menu, xsane freezes,
and the terminal issues a big number of identical lines :
(xsane:63159): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 18:02:07.788: IA__gtk_widget_event: assertion
'WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed

I prefer launching xsane form the command line, so that I can quit with Ctrl-C.
Otherwise, it has to be killed from the command line when it freezes that way.
Here is my command to kill xsane:
sudo kill $pidof(xsane)

** Affects: xsane (Ubuntu)

 Status: New

[Bug 1878952] Re: python-nautilus and python3-nautilus are in conflict on focal

2021-06-26 Thread Silvain Dupertuis
owncloud-client and Nautilus integration were working previously.
But for some time, nautilus-owncloud is broken, and trying to reinstall througs
the error (sorry, this is in French!)

"Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites :
 nautilus-owncloud : Dépend: owncloud-client (< 2.5.1.10973+dfsg-1ubuntu4.1~)
mais 2.8.2+oc-4246 devra être installé
Dépend: python-nautilus mais ne sera pas installé
E: Impossible de corriger les problèmes, des paquets défectueux sont en mode «
garder en l'état »."

It seems to have happened since I have owncloud-client version 2.8.2
ownCloud 2.8.2 (build 4246) ea9d50 May 28 2021 12:06:08
Libraries Qt 5.12.10, OpenSSL 1.1.1g 21 Apr 2020

It is quite annoying as I am very frequently creating links and can no
longer do it from nautilus

[Bug 1273797] [NEW] Layers are displayed even when inactive

2014-01-28 Thread Silvain Dupertuis
Public bug reported:

I have PDF files created from Scribus with layers (for multilanguage document
Images are the same, different languages are on their specific layers.
I choose which language to get when exporting to PDF.
The PDF produced also has layers, and only the activated layer is displayed.
Combining such layered PDF with PDFTK does not work properly,
The inactivated layers re-appear in the combined PDF.
I get a superposition of the different languages in the result, which makes it
unusable.
(Ubuntu 13.10 - pdftk 2.01-1)
