[Bug 58852] Kismet in edgy still depends on ethereal-common

2006-09-04 Thread Skateinmars
Public bug reported:

In edgy (on a dist-upgraded xubuntu computer ) kismet depends on
ethereal-common.

However, ethereal-common in now only a transitional package for
wireshark-common (due to upstream name change).

Shouldn't we change the dependency to wireshark-common ?

** Affects: kismet (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Untriaged
 Status: Unconfirmed

[Bug 55876] Re: Bash scripts fail because they point to /bin/sh

2006-09-04 Thread Skateinmars
I don't know exactly if this is related, but airmon-sh does not work
here.

The reported error is :

/usr/sbin/airmon-ng: 16: Syntax error: ( unexpected

Maybe this is related to the use of dash instead of bash. If not I could
file another bug.

[Bug 53853] Re: madwifi refuses to load on current restricted-modules

2006-09-04 Thread Skateinmars
It seems to work for me, but I cannot manage to change the mode used.
airmon (from aircrack) and iwconfig are not able to put the card on
monitor mode or Ad-Hoc mode.

I don't know if this is related

[Bug 49640] Re: xchat-xsys crash

2006-07-15 Thread Skateinmars
I can confirm this bug.
When choosing web browser or multimedia, xchat crashes again.
This bug has been reproduced by 4 people (using x86), without changing default
systray configuration.

xchat-systray is affected, not xchat-xsys

Bug is easily reproductible (for example, simply click on web browser
on the systray menu)

[Bug 53103] Re: OOo 2.0.2 has a big issue and OOo 2.0.3 has been released

2006-07-15 Thread Skateinmars
As the edgy version of openoffice.org is 2.0.3, maybe we should/can
backport this version if it doesnt affect too much the 6.06 version ?
