[Bug 1254253] Re: monodevelop crashes on startup directly after installation

2013-11-23 Thread Testing Tigerwolf
I have solve the problem on my desktop with the following method :
1. apt-get purge monodevelop
2. apt-get autoremove
3. apt-get install monodevelop

I notice that 131/520 dependencies was missing from the previous installation.
I think I had reproduce once time this problem using a package manager instead
of the terminal
==> remains to investigate

See the list of 131 missing packages from the previous installation

Joe Ipson, you said you encounters the same problem, could you please verify
your Monodevelopp installation.
I hope it will solve this problem as for me.

2013-05-09 Thread Testing Tigerwolf
Hi,

I don't know if it exactly the same bug that I encounter, but I have the
same kind of problem as Martin, since I have upgrade to Kubuntu 13.04 :

What I have done:
-
1. Install monodevelop using apt-get
2. Launch it
  - using graphical interface
  - using the Konsole
  - using the Konsole with the "no-splash" option

What happens:
-
1. No installation error, everything seems ok at this stage
2.
 - using graphical interface:
nothing happens
no "monodevelop" process in KSysGuard

 - using the Konsole:
nothing happens
still no "monodevelop" process in KSysGuard

 - using the Konsole with the "no-splash" option:
An error occurs, and a error window appears : "MonoDevelop could not
start. The following error has been detected :
 Method not found: 'MonoDevelop.Components.Docking.DockFrame.ToCairoColor'."

For more information, see attachment "MonoDevelop_crash_at_launch".

Thanks for your help

It is possible to bypass the problem by modifying screen energy
managment properties. In "KDE>System Configuration>Energy Managment>Edit
Profiles>Screen" untick "activate the screen power management".

2009-11-20 Thread Testing Tigerwolf
Same problem using Amarok 2.2.1 on KDE 4.3.3 (Ubuntu Karmic 9.10)

By scruting input-outputs, the following sequence appears :

 .xsssio-errs .xsssio-errs .xsssio-errs

Moreover Amarok view the cd as a lonely track. If I choose "Add to
playlist", nothing happens...

Amarok seems to fail to read the cd information. But the CD I attempt to read
is a basic CD without any access-control.

Firstly, sorry for answering so late...
The problem persist on latest Ubuntu Karmic : 9.10 beta.

I join a video in order to help you to understand the problem.
Unfortunately I don't know how to obtain accurate datas about this crash.
However, I had look at KSystemLog in order to obtain some information :

2009-09-08 Thread Testing Tigerwolf
The problem I exposed is obsolete. In fact, the new upgrade on plasma
seems to resolve the problem I have describe.

And you dozer, have you upgrade your packages ? Is your problem
persistent ?

If not, don't forget to close the bug report.

[Bug 394296] Re: the icon and RSSNOW text obscure headlines

2009-08-26 Thread Testing Tigerwolf
I install RssNow plasma on my desktop and not in the panel but I have a similar
bug.
RssNow plasma allows to configure if you want or not display the logo by
checking a radio button in the configuration interface
(General/appearence/Display the logo).

In fact, if the radio button is checked, RSSNows contains an extra line with
the logo.
But if you uncheck the radio button, the extra line is deleted but the logo
persists.

That's particularly troublesome because it's obscuring the headlines, as
ozer say.

Thank you for correcting this small but embarrassing bug.

[Bug 403910] [NEW] Ubuntu Karmic alpha 3 : eeepc hotlkeys - problem with the wireless function touch

2009-07-23 Thread Testing Tigerwolf
Public bug reported:

Hi,

I have just download the ubuntu karmic alpha 3 and I install it on a Eeepc
1000H.
I was agreably suprised because the hotkeys seems to function, particularly the
wifi hotkey (Fcn + F2).
In fact, when I push this hotkey when the wifi network is switch off, the wifi
seems to switch on.
But after that, if I push the hotkey another time (in order to switch off from
on), a black screen appears, the mouse freezes and nothing else...

I can't give you extra information about this functionning because when
the black screen appears I only have one alternative : to push on the
power button during several seconds...

Thank you for considerating my problem.
