I don't know if somebody of you found the same solution as I have but .. it was very simple to get HDMI working I just thought about the problem that I had to get hw:0,3 working.. which is the alsa device for HDMI sound.. what you have to do is to enable (unmute) the mixer by alsamixer for example and thats it! btw. it wouldn't be a big problem for the ubuntu-audio-devs to auto- enable it by default :) please thank me if it was useful! -- [9.10 regression] HDA NVIDIA HDMI no sound after alsa 1.0.20 update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385076 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 455405] [NEW] pavucontrol causes a freeze of the pulseaudio-server
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pavucontrol The Pulseaudio-server isn't working well while opening pavucontrol and having it opened.. I'm not sure whether it's caused by padevchooser or pulseaudio itself, but this happens, too, when I disconnect my bluetooth headset, but this would be another thing to report.. What I exspect is that pavucontrol should not suspend the sound system and work well with pulseaudio together like in versions before.. [Bug 405294] Re: a2dp skips terribly in Karmic
I'm using A2DP with Bluez through Pulseaudio like this: I've got blueman from the daily-ppa for karmic, with the pulseaudio plugin activated and it works well! Dunno whether it's because of my pulseaudio configurations but I just had to disable 2 of 3 profiles at pavucontrol - I think pa was connected to more than 1 profile on my headset, that why I had no sound before :) give it a try - it works ( for me ;) ) -- a2dp skips terribly in Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/405294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 437172] [NEW] [Karmic] - HDMI output - profile at pavucontrol isn't working
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio I'm just helpless getting sound working again through my HDMI output. This bug is properly related to a bug at 'alsa-driver' I've reported, too. On Jaunty I used the HDMI output by adding the alsa sink manually in /etc/pulse/default.pa something like: load-module module-alsa-sink device=hw:0,3 Now I tried it with the profiles, available to configure at pavucontrol but no sound here, too. Here I switched to the sink using the HDMI output profile and made a bug-report with: $ ubuntu-bug pulseaudio I'm looking foreward to hear from you, thanks! [Bug 331749] [NEW] Adding %armel% to NOJAVA_ARCHS ...
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gettext When I have rebuilded the source of gettext ( apt-get source gettext ) and repacked it by dpkg-buildpackage on the crosscompiler I had to change NOJAVA_ARCHS = %hppa% to NOJAVA_ARCHS = %hppa%armel% before, because there is no java available for this target (armel)... Finally I have edited the control-file, too, because of the dependences of java, which I simply removed instead of editing [!hppa] to [!hppa,!armel], or however it has to be...
