Just tried it, will have to wait to see if it stops them all.

Thank you very much.

yay! I finally manage to unsubscribe from this bug!

Go to your personal page, click list subscribed bugs, click on Advanced
Search, scroll almost to the end, unselect Hide duplicate bugs and click
search.

However, I feel that Hide duplicate bugs should be deselected by default
to avoid this kind of confusion.

RE: [Bug 96684] Re: Update from Edgy to Feisty multiple install failures

2007-04-06 Thread V J Paine
All the error reports said that the files couldn't be found in the specified
directory, which obviously varied with the program concerned. Affected
programs included open office. Everything seems to be working, including open
office so I presume that the programs concerned are still using the pre update
files.
The original install and update were with default directories, I didn't attempt
to change anything.

Any other info I can provide?

As I said the files couldn't be found in the specified directory to install
the program (not the exact wording but the sense).

[Bug 96684] Update from Edgy to Feisty mutiple install failures

2007-03-26 Thread V J Paine
Public bug reported:

Reported problems when it said only 2 minutes left to install and kept
hanging with error reports. Then multiple firefox instances opened.
Closed everything and most things seem to work but can't see Win
machines on network, could be Norton again, will check
