[Bug 1802657] [NEW] Nvidia GPU has fallen off the bus with newer games
Public bug reported: My system hangs every time I try to play more demanding games on it. Especially Total War: Warhammer hangs the system after a while. I know, that this error can be a result of faulty hardware, insufficient cooling etc, but this is not this case in my opinion. I don't have any problem with heavy GPU rendering in Blender for long periods of time (hours). GPU temperature remains reasonable, even when that game crashes. And the game works perfectly under Windows. I have tried Furmark under Linux and more "GPU burners" under Windows without any problems. I'am experiencing this problem for about a year, with Ubuntu 17.10 (various nvidia drivers tried) and now with nvidia 390 drivers in Ubuntu 18.04. [Bug 1781271] [NEW] Gnome shell crashing after login
Public bug reported: Gnome shell usually (not everytime) crashes after login. When I log in everything looks fine. Then I try to start firefox, gnome-shell crashes first time, but recovers in this first case. Second crash occurs after I try to click with mouse or press some key. This time it crashes whole X and returns to login screen. In log I can see gnome-shell segfaults in libgobject. [Bug 1248899] [NEW] Keyboard problems in Blender
Public bug reported: After upgrade to 13.10 I have problems with keyboard in Blender. Sometimes keyboard is not working for Blender at all (but works outside Blender). Sometimes I cannot switch layers with number keys. And pressing somw keys twice in a short time (for example yy when I wan't to lock local y coord) does not work as in 13.04. I'am unable to track when all theese things happen, however (besides the last one, which happens everytimes). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1248899 Title: Keyboard problems in Blender To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1248899/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1246636] [NEW] Calculator scope should copy its result to clipboard instead of running calculator gui
Public bug reported: Before 13.10 calculator copied its result into clipboard. This makes sense, I use this scope when I want to do a quick calculation and paste its result somewhere. When I want to work with calculator gui, I'll run it. And, by my opinion, running calculator gui in time, when desired calculation is done and result is available makes no sense at all.
