[Bug 63778] Re: can't extract files with accents
I have the same problem, with file-roller i can't unzip files with accents or other 'diferent' characters.when i extract them to my external hd which is ntfs-formated. I have no problems when i extract the file to a ext4 partition. The files are originaly made in windows. So i would consider this as a bug. Any suggestions for work-arounds? -- can't extract files with accents https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/63778 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 330766] Re: pulseaudio hangs, prevents login, home as ntfs
For me the problem isn't solved, i tried the workarounds above. I have my home directory on a ntfs partition. I have no problems with booting and sound is playing (on most programs like rhytmbox and amarok but is not paying on Mplayer). But as Pulsaudio isn't starting up, i can't choose which of my 2 soundcards i want to use or any other audio setting... please some advise for an other workaround (maybe another program) -- pulseaudio hangs, prevents login, home as ntfs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330766 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 381358] [NEW] Corrupt files when converting from WAV to FLAC
Public bug reported: Hi, I record with a Edirol R 09 HR WAV-files. http://www.edirol.net/products/en/R-09/ When I convert the WAV-files, directly from the Edirol, with Sound Converter to FLAC only approximatly 1 out of 10 tracks play in Amarok or other players. If I check the files in Easy-Tag, it says that the not-working tracks have 6 or 8 channels, other tracks have 2 channels, but bitrate: 0 kb/s, they also don't play. ** Affects: soundconverter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Corrupt files when converting from WAV to FLAC https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
