[Bug 1966091] Re: Random noises with 5.13.0-37-generic but not with 5.13.0-35-generic
Same here, I have a Lenovo X13 Gen1 notebook with an AMD 4750U Ryzen processor. The integrated sound chip works without problem, but when using the sound card in the Lenovo USB dock, the problem appears. Rebooted several times but the problem persists. Downgrading to the 5.13.0-35 kernel removes the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1966091 Title: Random noises with 5.13.0-37-generic but not with 5.13.0-35-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1966091/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1950339] Re: Screen stays black after going idle or waking up from suspend on AMD laptop
Same here, I have a Lenovo X13, also with an AMD 4750U. Screen shows random noise after suspend/resume with 5.13 kernel. Reverting back to 5.11 kernels removes the problem. I also installed a 5.15 kernel and here, things are also working again. Might be related to this: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1783 Unfortunately, the 5.15 kernel is no option for me as Virtualbox DKMS doesn't compile the drivers (due to newer glibc used in the 5.15 kernel compared to Ubuntu 20.04) ** Bug watch added: gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues #1783 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1783 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1950339 Title: Screen stays black after going idle or waking up from suspend on AMD laptop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1950339/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I can confirm the behavior. At least its possible to deactivate 'discoverable' and 'discovery' on the command line: sudo hiconfig hci0 noscan Interesting: This survives a reboot! [Bug 1764172] [NEW] Unable to change hostname
Public bug reported: In Bionic Beta 2 I am not able on a host or in a guest VM to change the hostname of a Bionic Beta 2 installation by changing /etc/hostname. The name in the file can be changed but it always reverts to the hostname configured during installation. In the following thread on the topic it is suggested to remove a number of cloud packages.
