[Bug 486299] [NEW] MSI Wind screen flickers after startup after upgading to 9.10
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg Since I upgraded to Karmic Koala, my MSI Wind laptop screen keeps flickering after startup. There's a brightness slider in the top right, so I suppose it's trying to adjust the brightness of the screen and it can't decide between 80% or 90% so it keeps changing between the two. This lasts for a couple of minutes, then it stops flickering. [Bug 377322] Re: my sftp conncection breaks spontaneously after a while, I have to re-login to fix it.
The session is dead. Nothing is happening, it typically goes dead after it's been open for a while and I haven't been using it. I wouldn't mind it dying, if I can start a new connection, but I can't. It takes a while before I can start an sftp connection to the same host again, unless I re-login.
