Than you Brian for the very useful link. This helped a lot as I had no
idea what went wrong up until that point. Also thank you Mario for the
"redirect" to the proper location, I've reported the issue here:

[Bug 1940140] [NEW] Lenovo Ideapad 3-14ITL6 broken (bios nor Ubuntu installer seeing HDD) after trying to install a firmware update

2021-08-16 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I've recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 3-14ITL6 and the OS installation
(Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS) itself went fine.

However there was this firmware update offered so I clicked on it. The
entry disappeared from the list in the Software Center for a short wile
but has soon (in a few seconds) reappeared. No error, nothing.

Then after a few minutes (and without seeing any error log anywhere I've
looked) I did try to restart the device.

Unfortunately after this point the system wouldn't boot with bios saying
"missing boot device". Ubuntu live USB will not see the drive either.

I can also unfortunately confirm this does happen regularly as I tried
it on a second device today. That's very unfortunate as I am left with a
second broken device that I will very probably need to return back to
the seller because I don't know what else to do with it.

Thank you.
Best regards,

[Bug 1835024] Re: Links triggered within most snap apps open in a separate browser session

2019-10-15 Thread zubozrout
Ok, gnome-calculator snap seems fixed somehow. But Slack nor Skype still
works. In Skype it crashes its own Firefox instance immediately, trying
to open the browser - so only a crash dialogue gets opened. And in Slack
this still opens in its own instance.

Please try to test this against these Snap apps.

[Bug 1835024] Re: Links triggered within most snap apps open in a separate browser session

2019-09-25 Thread zubozrout
I've just bumped into these two related mentions of the same issue:
https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/slack-opening-file-browser-firefox-and-chrome-in-the-snaps-context/8969
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1827770

The other launchpad report is older, so mine would be a duplicate I
guess. But it is also expired for some reason.

This issue has resolved itself and I haven't seen it happen in any
current Ubuntu releases. Ubuntu 17.10 is also no longer supported so I
guess this can be closed.

[Bug 1758243] Re: bumblebee needs configuration changes to work with nvidia-driver-390 and libglvnd0

2019-01-08 Thread zubozrout
@rockorequin - I seem to be able to launch apps with primusrun setting
the correct libGL path, but although apps launch that way they are
actually not using Nvidia but only the integrated Intel GPU (at least I
don't see any performance improvements). In the bumblebee lok I can then
see the following issue:

[ERROR]Module 'nvidia' is not found.

and also this, which seems bad (strangely modprobe seems to be able to
load that module just fine but the error in bumblebee is persistent even
after restarting the service after modprobe passed):

[ERROR]Module 'bbswitch' not found.
[WARN]No switching method available. The dedicated card will always be on.

I am on 18.10 and so far have been completely unable to use Bumblebee
with still not so old Nvidia MX150 GPU. I've tried it with all drivers
starting with 390 and ending with 415. So the only solution is to is to
switch gpu using prime-select which is quite unpleasant having to re-
login after each switch.

Btw, I've tried to follow this guide (among others) which seems quite
complex but is is a complete no-go for me: https://float-
middle.com/ubuntu-18-04-steam-and-nvidia-390/

Also tested this on a more recent device (mine is about a year old) with
Nvidia GTX 1500 Max-Q also running Ubuntu 18.10 and that was not
successful either - so I am more confident this is not a hardware
specific issue.

Yeah, this seems to be pretty bad. I've been asked to connect to a
corporate VPN using PSK that only has 7 characters and can't use Network
Manager because this 20+ characters limit :(.

On Apple (I don't use that, but my boss does) this however works out of
the box and with no issues:

[Bug 1747404] [NEW] Slack snap app laucnher icon flickering

2018-02-05 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
for some reason I've been temporarily experiencing an app icon flickering (on
the default Ubuntu Gnome launcher). I am not sure if it had anything to do with
the fact my Slack app is a snap package but I haven't seen this ever before,
not even using regular Debian way packaged Slack.

This is of no urgency as it may never happen again but it still seems
odd. And I am unfortunately not sure how to reproduce it either as it
didn't last long and is by no means a regular occurrence.

I am on 17.04, using 720S-14IKBR laptop.

[Bug 1652504] [NEW] Recent updates broke Ubuntu on Raspberry Pi 3

2016-12-25 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I've been running Raspberry Pi 3 with Ubuntu as described here
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM/RaspberryPi

I've installed Ubuntu 16.04 and then upgraded to 16.10 and have been
using this setup successfully since October up until last week.
Unfortunately one of the latest kernel updates broke the installation
and I found out the same happened for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS - and therefore I
can no longer run up-to-date Ubuntu installation (with updated kernel)
on my RPI.

I am getting this error:
Error image is not a fdt - must reset the board to recover

I also tried this but it didn't help me:
https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28=168838

Now I know running Ubuntu on RPI3 this way is not officially supported,
but since Ubuntu Snappy is supported I thought someone here could know
what is going on.

Thank you very much.

[Bug 1648605] [NEW] Inserted text ends up on a wrong position after clicking in front of the underlined word in text edit field (web browser)

2016-12-08 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
if you edit text in a web browser's text input field (like Gmail) and click
right in front of the last inserted word (the underlined one with auto
corrections available) and then start typing the cursor should stay in front of
the stuff it was put as well as the text inserted to the current cursor
position. Instead it gets moved after the underlined word and new text inserted
after as well.

I am on rc-proposed, MX4 (and I've been experiencing this bug ever since
auto correction was made available in the web browser)

Thank you very much for looking into this.

[Bug 1648599] [NEW] OSK inserts display-text vs text difference to web textfields upon cursor move and key press

2016-12-08 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I've noticed many times now (ever since there are auto corrections present in
the web browser) that when editing a text field in a web browser - for me
usually gmail message composer (I haven't seen this in native apps yet) - the
word I just wrote gets inserted to the text upon moving the cursor to a
different place and start typing again.

That is:
1. Open something like Gmail and start composing a new email message
2. When you have a "few words" written, before you type space after the last
word, click to a different position inside the text to move the cursor elsewhere
3. Start typing (anything)

In most cases this results in the insertion of the last written word
(that was in display-text property but not in the text property - that
is if this is similar to QML TextInput) inside the text on the current
cursor position.

This is definitely an unexpected behaviour and makes editing while while
composing a message really painful.

I am on rc-proposed, MX4.
Thank you very much for looking into this.

[Bug 1648593] [NEW] Keyboard usualy not showing up in apps after unlocking the screen

2016-12-08 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
for the last month or even more I am experiencing this weird bug with OSK not
popping up after putting my phone to "sleep", that is locking the screen and
then unlocking it. It mostly happens with Telegram to me, as that is one
particular app that I keep running all the time, but I've experienced this in
other apps (including my own) as well and therefore expect it not to be related
to Telegram at all.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any app (like Telegram) - OSK should pop up and work upon clicking on
any input
2. Lock the device (shut the screen down)
-- The length of the phone being asleep seems to have little influence on the
actual OSK keyboard behaviour - it seems to be pretty much random --
3. Unlock the device
4. Switch to the previously opened app if you are not there already

Sometimes it is hard for me to reproduce this while other times I seem
to be bumping into this every time I unlock the screen - so it is not
something I've seen once or twice in my life but is pretty much common.

To fix this behaviour switching out of the app and back to it again
usually works, though sometimes restarting the app is the only way to
get the OSK working.

I am on rc-proposed, MX4

Thank you very much for looking into this

[Bug 1630310] Re: Please add degree to the list of special charaters

I am using English and Czech layouts, both are missing this degree ° key.
Also, Stuart Langridge suggested introducing a compose key to the ubuntu
keyboard and one other person I talked to liked the idea as well. So maybe this
would be a good way to make the keyboard more feature-rich.

[Bug 1630278] [NEW] Multiple selector cursors present in Notes app

2016-10-04 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hi,
If I open Notes on my phone and create or edit a note, then activate a
cursor/selector and keep it active while switching out and back to the app
again I can now see the old handles (can't get rid of those) and I can create a
new one. This way I can bring up as many cursors/selectors as I'd like.

The old ones are not usable, but they are present when clearly they
should not, as visible in the attached screenshot.

I am running rc-proposed on MX4 - and yesterday was the first time I've
seen this behaviour but I am not sure if it is a new bug or not.

Thank you

[Bug 1555751] Re: Some apps require a restart after switching to/from Wifi/Cellular to reconnect to the network

2016-09-17 Thread zubozrout
Hi,
yeah, this is a really an old issue. Nevertheless there are other problems
involved here - one thing is the app being unable to work after some change in
the connection but the other is the whole OS freezing and reinitializing itself
after about 10 to 60 seconds (not rebooting but starting directly from the
Ubuntu dotted loading screen).

I experience behaviour quite often to be honest, like 1 of 10 times I am
using my phone in a subway when my connection fluctuates from none any
(I've also seen this when my phone switched from cellular to wireless
and the vice versa). I am not sure what happens when my phone is in my
pocket untouched though. Sadly those spontaneous "almost-restarts" kill
all my applications and any stuff I may be working on there.

This happens for me on MX4 and I am not exactly sure when I saw it the
first time but it wasn't that long ago ... maybe something like
April/May 2016? (just a guess)

The system freeze bug I am experiencing may not be related to this
though, I am not sure. When Telegram ceases working for me I am usually
still able to kill it and start again, sometimes even send a message,
before the whole system stops responding. Then it takes up to two
minutes for it to realize it is stuck before it reinitializes itself.

[Bug 1537774] Re: Viewfinder frozen and all buttons disabled after taking HDR picture

2016-09-14 Thread zubozrout
I am having this or similar issue on my MX4 ever since HDR was present
in the camera app. After 1 to n photos taken in HDR mode the camera
freezes, doesn't save the taken HDR picture, doesn't even show it ...
stays in a black screen with just a loading animation. In addition after
closing the app and starting it again the camera app has no access to
the camera and the device has to be rebooted in order to take additional
images.

[Bug 1611680] [NEW] Scrolling on some sites is difficult and sometimes even impossible

2016-08-10 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
the Czech news site I am reading quite often was recently updated to a new
design and as of this update scrolling on the site gets quite tricky. On some
articles scrolling is almost impossible.

Now this is not the first site I find difficult to scroll on with an
Ubuntu's web browser unfortunately, though it is usually the case of
some heavy javascript ballast on the site I am sure.

The worst experience I am getting so far is on this article:
http://www.ceskenoviny.cz/zpravy/francouzska-justice-obvinila-16letou-
divku-z-planovani-teroru/1379685 where scrolling is very laggy and more
or less only gets me either to the absolute top or the absolute bottom
of the article, not anywhere in the middle. Slow scrolling won't help
the issue.

Other articles like this one http://www.ceskenoviny.cz/zpravy/ceske-
drahy-dostaly-pokutu-150-000-kc-za-chybejici-ceniky/1380181 feels only
very laggy but not that bad from my experience.

I've been testing this on my Meizu MX4 with rc-proposed. Maybe this is
only the device issue though I doubt it.

Is there something you can do about it?
Thank you very much.

[Bug 1547448] [NEW] Ubuntu 16.04: Notifications of some apps displayed in a classic window

2016-02-19 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
for about a month or so there is a bug affecting Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Some apps

closed, so I had to disable notifications in the Slack chat app for
instance.

[Bug 1477819] [NEW] selected language is not remembered after reboot

2015-07-23 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Yesterday I reinstalled Ubuntu devel-proposed on my Nexus 7. In the initial
wizard I chose Czech language as a default and after that the UI really
displayed in Czech.
After a reboot, the whole system displays english texts but if I go to settings
I can see Czech language still selected. If I try to select it again, the
settings app finally switches back to Czech but upon closing it it is all back
to English. System UI persists to be in English and all apps including settings
app as well.

Originally I didn't notice that but I suspect this bug is affecting
devel-proposed for a longer period of time - like one month or so - as I
clearly remember I always selected my local language initially and that
for some time now the UI is always in English.

[Bug 1477674] [NEW] Support for meta name=theme-color ... tag

2015-07-23 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hi,
Google Chrome on Android introduced this nice colour feature some time ago and
I see all sites all over the world slowly adopting it, including ubuntu.com.

I already asked a question about this some time ago and I was
recommended to report a bug:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-
app/+question/267783

So the thing is to support this meta tag meta name=theme-color
content=#DD4814 and change header colour accordingly. It would be a
great addition to Ubuntu and what's more, it is simple to implement.

What do you think about the idea?

[Bug 1473643] [NEW] Enable switching to full desktop sites

2015-07-11 Thread zubozrout
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1377033 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1377033

Public bug reported:

Hello,
this is more like a feature request. I've just noticed that on desktop Ubuntu
Web Browser is now loading full desktop sites, which is great. I expect it is
just a matter of changing useragents (although there may be more to it). On the
other hand on my tablet it is still showing mobile sites - which you may want
to change from time to time.

I suppose the default behaviour on phones and tablets should be to load
mobile sites as it is now but - could you please add a switcher in the
menu to demand for full desktop version of websites?

In addition it would be great to include a button in the bowser's
settings so that browser would permanently ask for desktop sites if user
wants it. On bigger devices that would certainly be relevant.

(and on the other hand you may want to display a mobile version of any
website on desktop for testing purposes so a vice versa would be great
as well)

What do you think? How do you think it should be implemented?

[Bug 1377033] Re: [Browser] Ability to switch to the desktop mode (desktop version)

2015-07-11 Thread zubozrout
I've just noticed that on desktop Ubuntu Web Browser is now loading full
desktop sites, which is great. I expect it is just a matter of changing
useragents (although there may be more to it). On the other hand on my
tablet it is still showing mobile sites - which you may want to change
from time to time.

[Bug 1473068] Re: Events depending on a VTIMEZONE ical entry get wrong timezone

2015-07-10 Thread zubozrout
Hi,
I am affected by this bug as well but in my case I not only see the time wrong
in the indicator, but also in the Calendar app so I suspect the bug may be in
the Calendar app itself.

* I created an event from my Android phone
* I synced Ubuntu Calendar app
* the event is now displayed as starting 2 hours later than it actually is on
Ubuntu (I am in UTC+2).

2015-07-10 Thread zubozrout
Here it is...
Look at this event: Vyzvednout boty na Krakovské
In calendar and indicator I see the event starts at 11:30 although it should
start at 9:30 as it is in the file.

It must be that timezone is somehow not understood by calendar app.

[Bug 1473546] [NEW] Text selector and cursor hidden beneath keyboard

2015-07-10 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hi,
as you can see in the attached screenshot (of Telegram app) the handle for text
coursor or selector can be hidden beneath keyboard in some cases.

The possible solutions for this would be either to always show the
handles above the text so it won't ever have to intersect with the
keyboard or to somehow put it in the higher level than the actual
keyboard is, which would be I suppose harder to achieve.

What do you think? Is there any other solution you can think of?

[Bug 1472585] [NEW] [browser] add support to copy page link to clipboard

2015-07-08 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I am constantly missing url to clipboard feature in webbrowser. It is nice you
can finally share the browsed page but an ability co have a link in clipboard
so you can write an email with it or post it on social networks is missing.

I am not completely sure how to approach this but same problem may apply
to other applications as well. It would be awesome if maybe content hub
was able to detect if it manages a link (string) and then allow user
just to have it in a clipboard. But I am not sure it that is the best
approach. Maybe it would be best to have it in the app, allow developers
to make a sharing button with content hub / clipboard choice as it is on
Android (I suppose).

What do you think?

Thank you very much.

No, I am not talking about hovering my finger above link, but sharing
the currently loaded page, preferably using the menu in the top right
corner of the app. There is already a sharing button so it would be nice
to include it in it somehow.

2015-07-08 Thread zubozrout
Thanks for the info and for the link. Then I guess it is ok to close
this thread as Invalid.

Only thing that bothers me is that in the future it may be necessary to
consider adding copy to clipboard feature to the content hub as some
applications don't have address bar and yet it may be a good feature to
be able to copy a content from it (like public transport schedule or
link to a post in a social network or content aggregator app).

[Bug 1469496] [NEW] Error activating /ril_0/context1: org.ofono.Error.Failed: Operation failed

2015-06-28 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hi,
I am currently running Ubuntu on my Nexus 7 LTE (deb). Recently, on
devel-proposed, mobile data stopped working (on devel it still works).

Everything seems to be ok, I am connected to my mobile carrier and the
signal has a great strength, but for some reason ofono is unable to
activate context.

./activate-context → Error activating /ril_0/context1:
org.ofono.Error.Failed: Operation failed

For example SMS works just fine.

Is this problem device specific or does it occur on other devices as well? Is
there any way I can workaround this, what is going on?

I am running Nexus 7 deb (LTE), but I don't think it is a device
specific issue. I can see my network provider, I have it's signal so I
am connected to the network but I can't use mobile data, although
sending SMS works.

[Bug 1462359] Re: wine currently can not be installed in wily - 15.10

2015-06-16 Thread zubozrout
Doesn't work with official Wine PPA either:
https://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu
I would appreciate an updated Wine package that works with other bleeding-edge
stuff on Wily. This thing with Wine however is from what I observed over the
years pretty common and almost every development version of Ubuntu has this
problem. In fact I can't remember a single release where Wine would work during
the whole period of its development.

But then, if you need a more reliable system you should stay on stable
releases rather than daily builds. Of if you like running bleeding-edge
but totally unreliable system as I do, there is no other way but to get
used to broken things. And yes, you can always compile it on your own
:).

[Bug 1385654] [NEW] MainView's OrientationHelper: page isn't being clipped properly to accomodate the header

overlaying it. You should file a bug for it (if there isn't one
already)

Here are some pictures quickly taken with a potato:
https://plus.google.com/117415521410663758843/posts/NxtEsJV44K7

Since I am unable to find an explanation for this, I am filling this
report as I also think it is a bug.

Yep, confirmed, I first encountered it in Saucy, then it was somehow

I suppose it I have a related problem. I can type verywhere except for
the dash ( alt+F2) - that is some weird bug in Unity. Also, I made no
changes in my configuration, it stopped working just after I upgraded to

[Bug 1200714] [NEW] Already purchased software missing in the software centre

2013-07-12 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I recently noticed Ubuntu Software Center shows a warning message when
previewing already purchased application that should be available for my
version of Ubuntu (13.04), saying an application is missing from the software
sources. I experience this bug on all my computers and therefore I am unable to
get anything I bought installed.

Message example: There isn’t a software package called “cave-story-plus”
in your current software sources.

More info + screenshot: http://askubuntu.com/questions/319173/already-

[Bug 1082351] [NEW] Tooltip shown on hover even when pop-up window is over.

2012-11-23 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

When I executed update-manager on Quantal Quetzal, I noticed a tooltip of a
webpage appeared even when the update-manager window was in the front.
I would expect a tooltip to disappear when a mouse cursor is moved away from
the browser.

This behaviour is not common and I was not able to reproduce it again (I
assume this is a Unity bug). Also, since the screenshot was taken in
hurry there is no mouse cursor visible - though its position can be
determined by the location of the tooltip (cursor was above it).

Hopefully someone can confirm it.

[Bug 1069069] [NEW] Ubuntu Software Center shows progress button on start

2012-10-20 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu Software Center shows progress button on start even if nothing is
happening. However, if an update or installation/package removal is happening
when software-center is opened, the buttons starts responding (shows the
status) and after the apt procedure ends it just disappears as it should.
It really is not much of a problem but it is at least an inconsistency in the

[Bug 1066410] Re: lightdm doesn't load correctly on Ubuntu 12.10

2012-10-16 Thread zubozrout
I am disappointed I can't close the bug. The problem still persists. The
reinstallation of lightdm package affected only first 3 boots after the
procedure, but it no longer seems to make any effect.
In addition, I've noticed that my mouse pointer is not only visible on virtual
terminal 7, but also on every other terminals. How could that be so? However, I
can't use the mouse on vt1 through 6.

I now assume everything works correctly except the fact I can't see
anything (only a cursor) and the cursor is visible on all virtual
terminals independently.

I can login in lightdm even though I don't see anything, even after
unity loads. (lightdm, xorg, compiz - those all works, but for some
reason I've got almost blank screen on vt7).

To get my screen working I have to either kill lightdm and then start it
again, or login through lightdm I don't see and then kill the gnome-
session.

[Bug 1066410] Re: lightdm doesn't load correctly on Ubuntu 12.10

2012-10-15 Thread zubozrout
The possible solution for this is to apt-get purge lightdm pakage and
then install it again. However, I am not sure if this will work
permanently yet. I will disable the bug later this week if all goes
well. The probable reason for this may be some bad configuration that
didn't work with the latest lightdm release. If so, it does not affect
the final release.

[Bug 1066410] [NEW] lightdm doesn't load correctly on Ubuntu 12.10

2012-10-13 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 12.10 doesn't load correctly because lightdm shows only a mouse pointer
and a blinking command-line cursor.
I don't know if this is only Ubuntu 12.10 specific bug, because a similar error
appeared on my friend's computer back in 2011 on Ubuntu 11.10. However,
switching to a command line and restarting lightdm solves the problem per
instance. Also rebooting the device solves it, but also only for the specific
boot. Another reboot ends with the same black screen with a working mouse
pointer and a blinking cursor.

I am using Asus Zenbook ux32vd (Intel HD Graphics 4000 + not used Nvidia
GT620M - Optimus technology).

[Bug 1041883] Re: Recent patch to asus-wmi module makes system unbootable

2012-10-03 Thread zubozrout
@Ash - Thanks for your solution. It works great (up until now I've been
using the noapic linux kernel option). And it works even better than the
noapic solution, because somehow, more applications were crashing with
noapic = apport was more active and always ended with some lack of ram
error message, though more than 2 free GBs were always available. In
addition noapic worked only sometimes (was random), thought there was a
great chance the system will boot up on the second time, after entering
the default boot option in grub (not sure why).

This blacklist works great, no problems yet. Seems more stable and has
no problems booting. Thanks.

[Bug 1041883] Re: Recent patch to asus-wmi module makes system unbootable

2012-09-28 Thread zubozrout
Hmm, same problem here with Quantal. As described, system won't boot
unless the procedure is made through the recovery option in the grub.
This way Ubuntu loads but brightness of the screen can not be changed
because /sys/class/backglight/... thing is not up.

Somehow, after upgrade, it once booted up normally with no error (kernel
panic) and fully functional. Nevertheless, the next boot was again the
same with a kernel panic :'(

Just upgraded to beta 2 and even though no kernel update was included, I
had once again the luxury of booting without kernel panic. But then
again, I am stacked with the error again.

One more thing to add:
When booting through the recovery mode, I not only can't change the brightness,
but it seem there is also a problem running 3D games. So, in this case, Unity
runs only through the llvmpipe and some games are not playable at all:
using GL_RENDERER Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 0x301)

[Bug 1056200] [NEW] Ubuntu Software Center appears to have a problem rendering content

2012-09-25 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
Since Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (this persists in Ubuntu 12.10), Ubuntu Software Center
shows the best rated applications in subcategories incorrectly rendered. As you
can see in the attachment, the second line of the apps do not fit into the
frames.
This bug is not specific to only one language (as it was once with the
promotional banner). I only tested it with English and Czech languages (on more
computers).

[Bug 1053478] [NEW] Software Center shows image of a different application

2012-09-20 Thread zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Hello,
I've just noticed there is something weird in software-center. Not sure whether

[Bug 1049988] [NEW] Ubuntu Software Center is inconsistent

2012-09-12 Thread Zubozrout
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu Software Center should be more consistent to look awesome for
every user.

#VIDEO
If you open a package page with embedded video in USC, you'll notice video
looks like it doesn't fit there. Just under the player there is a white frame
and it looks different to embedded images.
I propose this should look the same as embedded image, so it should have the
same border around it.

#SCREENSHOTS
If you open a package page on the web, you will be able to browse all
available images of the application. On the other hand, USC is limited only to
3 images. There should be at least arrows on the left and right sides of the
preview bar so user would be able to browse all images.

#Links
I also think email and web links should be different. Now there is no
difference between them (email is labeled as Developer Web Site).

+ Software available for free (even though it is a proprietary thing)
should always be available for download through standard Download
button instead of Buy button. (You don't buy free things).
