Some under 11.10. Renders cellwriter quite useless since without training, no characters are recognized at all. I found no way to backup the training data to restore it if it's lost, beecause it seems that cellwriter doesn't save the training data in /home/user/.cellwriter, and i couln't find any other place where the training data is made persistent. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/766954 Title: CellWriter randomly forgets Training and Setup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cellwriter/+bug/766954/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 935243] [NEW] logging doesn't work (using command line options)
Public bug reported: To debug cellwriter with respect to bug #766954, i tried to start cellwriter with command line options --log- file=/home/user/cellwriter.log and --log-level=8 (as described in the cellwriter manpage) to make cellwriter write some logging output to a logfile. [Bug 500356] Re: No wireless connection with ath_pci using wicd or Network-Manager - works only with iwconfig/ifconfig directly
Another observation: wicd is able to connect to the WEP-secured Access point only _after_ connecting manually using iwconfig / ifconfig. [Bug 500356] [NEW] No wireless connection with ath_pci using wicd or Network-Manager - works only with iwconfig/ifconfig directly
Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu Karmic on a Thinkpad X31 with an Atheros Communications Inc. AR5212 802.11abg NIC (rev 01), i can't connect to any WLAN Access Point using GUI tools like Network Manager or WICD. Using Network Manager worked before upgrading to 9.10 from 9.04. I tried to connect to different APs (one with WPA2, one with WEP) which i know were accessible under 9.04. It doesnt't work either with authentication disabled. There's no difference between using DHCP or a static IP configuration. It's possible to connect to the WEP-secured AP using a static IP using command line tools (iwconfig, ifconfig, route). I didn't try to connect to the WPA-secured AP using those tools direclty. So the problem is that using the GUI tools doesn't work, using command line tools works.
