[Bug 996906] Re: periodic audio skips with Intel HDA
Raymond: I do not understand your comment, are you suggesting a solution? Also, how come this bug is half a year old and it has not even been assigned to any of the ubuntu developers yet? This is pretty major seeing how many people using Intel HDA nowadays, and I'm pretty sure it affects EVERYONE with HDA but many people just don't notice it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996906 Title: periodic audio skips with Intel HDA To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pulseaudio/+bug/996906/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 996906] Re: periodic audio skips with Intel HDA
Same problem, both under 12.04 and 12.10 (12.04 used to be worse). Using "Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD Audio Controller", the problem seems to occur only with the combination of an Intel HDA sound card AND pulseaudio. Using a different card works, turning off pulseaudio also works.
[Bug 980663] Re: Compiz won't start if "unredirect fullscreen windows" is enabled
Are there any plans to backport compiz 0.9.8.x to precise now that bug 1053902 has been fixed? As a gamer using Ubuntu 12.04 this bug is heavily affecting me and I am considering replacing unity as gaming performance under it is horrible. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/980663 Title: Compiz won't start if "unredirect fullscreen windows" is enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz/+bug/980663/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 944321] Re: apt-get build-dep script for wine missing xorg and
Thanks for your research Daniel, it looks like I'm going with 32-bit then. By the way, I think you can use a chroot to compile wine on 64-bit, you don't need to set up a whole vm for that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/944321 Title: apt-get build-dep script for wine missing xorg and To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.4/+bug/944321/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 944321] Re: apt-get build-dep script for wine missing xorg and
I also wish to know that, with quantal being rolled out next week, I need to know whether I am going with 32 or 64 and the compilability of wine is my most major concern. Has anybody tried to do this on quantal64 and can update us on the situation?
