[Bug 99965] Re: [needs-packaging] celtx
I would still really like to see this, as Celtx just recently hit 1.0. I don't know if it would be a good idea to separate Celtx from xulrunner, since Hardy now uses Firefox 3 and I'm pretty sure it's version of xulrunner would only cause problems with Celtx... -- [needs-packaging] celtx https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99965 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 14774] Re: [shares-admin] Shared folders requires a login
Something I discovered from trying to setup sharing in both Ubuntu and Fedora: An easy way to setup sharing is to install the system-config-samba application, which I think should be installed by default along with Samba. With that utility I was able to setup users for Samba sharing as well as easily defining my shares. I did have to log-in as root to change the permissions on the share (in my case /data), so that everyone had read/write access, but that's because I'm not proficient w/ using chmod as a sudo command. After that, I was able to map the network drive from a Windows laptop and successfully access the shared folder. I am using Ubuntu Feisty 64bit. I don't know if the bug shows up a second time, but here are the steps I did after I had done a fresh install: 1. Download a gdm theme from gnome-look.org 2. Open "Login Window" under System -> Administration 3. Click "Local" tab 4. Click "Add" 5. select downloaded file and click "Install" 6. Select the radio button next to the newly installed gdm theme. Note that it is still set on "Selected Only" 7. For this step, either reboot the computer or simply log out (I can't remember if it does it for both) 8. You will see a completely random gdm theme 9. Login and re-open the "Login Window" prefs 10. You will see "Selected Only" has been changed on its own to "Random from selected" 11. Change it back to "Selected Only" 12. That gdm theme will now show up from then on I will install another gdm theme and report back if it does it again or not, or if its just that first custom installed gdm theme. -- Installing a gdm theme changes "Selected Only" to "Random from Selected" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122213 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox After I open Rhythmbox, I go to Preferences -> Library -> Edit Preferred Format. I choose CD Quality, MP3 and click Edit. The window for the profile comes up, but I am unable to click or press Tab to change fields and view/edit them. I have tried this both while Rhythmbox is playing and stopped, and also w/ Compiz both enabled and disabled. I have to go to System Monitor and force Rhythmbox to quit. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Editing GNOME Audio Profiles causes Rhythmox to freeze https://launchpad.net/bugs/99937 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 99938] Re: All files in Banshee end with a comma
I'll double-check, but I don't think it was doing it in Rhythmbox for me.
