Re: [Bug 574250] Re: SAMSUNG N150 Laptop : Brightness issue
Hi, As I mentioned before, since I was using voria ppa for samsung notebook provide a good behavior, especially concerning the black-light tuning using specific key. It was, cause for a couple of weeks it doesn't work any more ! I don't really know why, perhaps due to the last voria ppa update ? I tried first to fully remove this ppa, and I tested again, it doesn't word as it is with Standard Ubuntu packages. Then I reinstall it again, reboot my laptop, but it changes nothing... [Bug 267072] Re: Unable to move and/or resize KMM on Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 5
I agree, but in the next Ubuntu intrepid Ibex (actually Alpha 5) kcontrol is not available. It seems to be replaced by systemsetup, but it don't provide any tune display control. Something strange is that the window is not cantered on the desktop and that I have no possibility to move the window from right to left and reversely. Re: [Bug 260902] Re: unable to send a mail with an attachment file with 2.6.24-21 kernel
I got two issues with the -21- The first one is that my son was unable to get internet connection with its laptop, almost it was working nice days before. having a look on this I found the wifi device not working at all. So I tried with the -20- and it was fine again. I wrote a report on launchpad register #260664 The second one (260902) is that I was unable to send mail with large mail attachment. At the beginning I sow it on my son's laptop, and to understand what was going wrong, I tried to send a mail in the same manner but from a desktop with a wired connection. I got the same problem, using Thunderbird the mail sending starts but nether ends. I tried with the -20- and from this moment everything is ok. I stay on the line if you need more detail please come back to me. Daniel T Chen a écrit : Is the symptom you described the only trouble with networking in the -21- kernel from -proposed, or are you having problems connecting via wireless{, too}? The symptom you describe reads eerily like a wireless issue that is known, so if you determine that the symptom is restricted to /wired/ connection (using the tg3 Linux driver), we can narrow down the cause more quickly. -- unable to send a mail with an attachment file with 2.6.24-21 kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/260902 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
