[Bug 648319] Re: [needs-packaging] emelfm2 0.7.5
0.7.5 is out now. Would be nice to see emelFM2 packaged in Ubuntu. Version 0.4.1 is very, very old since the app has much evolved since. ** Summary changed: - [needs-packaging] emelfm2 0.7.3 + [needs-packaging] emelfm2 0.7.5 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/648319 Title: [needs-packaging] emelfm2 0.7.5 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 655950] Re: Maverick ubiquity confusion w/ auto-resize option results in OS and data loss
This is a nasty looking bug indeed! And quite irresponsible from Canonical to continue shipping this bug. A 10.10.1 would have been a wiser decision. Luckily I was already alert that Ubuntu could ship data-loss installer bugs (faulty grub or mbr, etc.) so I take special care to first check out the forums. Then I'll back up mbr and stray away from any 'auto' partitioning options -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/655950 Title: Maverick ubiquity confusion w/ auto-resize option results in OS and data loss -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 105458] Re: [needs-packaging] HandBrake
Two more comments: - there's is also a ppa repo for handbrake, but unfortunately without the GTK version and a bit dated https://launchpad.net/~handbrake-ubuntu/+archive/ppa - ogmrip is not a perfect substitute. It is OK for dealing with DVD sources, but it cannot handle simple multimedia files as inputs: one cannot use it to transcode a video file to another format/codec -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105458 Title: [needs-packaging] HandBrake -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I don't think 1.6.7 provides this functionality, unless the user is using some fancy config. In any case, I have Xubuntu 10.04 on 64 bit with LyX 1.6.7, and I cannot reproduce this. I've been reading the descriptions in the bug report, and I'm wondering if some of them are not related to the table painting issues that were discussed some time ago on the list (tables are re-drawn on each cursor movement). Another possibility is the slow-downs caused by outline with a complicated document structure. But the one that you've forwarded looks strange, indeed. [Bug 502587] Re: Please remove xfce4-governor-plugin (universe) from the archive
The plug-in indeed crashes quite often disappearing from the panel, while the Properties dialogue does not open. However it is by no means useless. It is very handy in switching from ondemand to powersave and back in order to prevent newish laptops from over-heating (those that have several cores, especially from AMD). It would of course be nice if the Debian devels imported it to unstable. But please do not remove it. -- Please remove xfce4-governor-plugin (universe) from the archive https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/502587 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
