[Bug 1154740] Re: Incorrect "Incorrect answer" message in parallel / meridian question
Thanks Simon In your first comment, you say "A meridian is a line of constant longitude passing between the poles and through a given place on the earth's surface. That is, meridians traverse from east to west like the lines of longitude. " See: http://www.firefightermath.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=61&Itemid=75 "Longitude lines (called meridians) run north and south and circle the planet from pole to pole." Or: http://www.rmg.co.uk/explore/astronomy-and-time/astronomy- facts/history/the-prime-meridian-at-greenwich "A meridian is a north-south line selected as the zero reference line for astronomical observations. " Based on this the proposal in your last comment is incorrect. Let me know your thoughts. Feel free to propose a new improved sentence. As it's a virtual machine (VirtualBox 4.3.10), I can't do that. I through that ubuntu-bug would mention the computer was virtualized. [Bug 1182693] Re: [French translation] untranslated strings
It is simple, take the string "get help with using chromium" which isn't translated in 25.0.1364.160-0ubuntu3. This string doesn't exist in any Launchpad translatable things here (https://translations.launchpad.net/chromium-browser/translations/+lang/fr). But this string is translated here (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/codesearch#chromium/src/chrome/app/resources/chromium_strings_fr.xtb&sq=package:chromium&type=cs) line 96. So I ask myself, is the Chromium project of having translation done in Launchpad stile active... Also when you look at the answer the Chromium guy gave me (see link in first post), you ask yourself about maybe a problem only linked to Ubuntu since the strings are translated in Win..., problem of version of Chromium? This should be seen in daily ppa, if it is translated, someone can look at it? For example the string "About Chromium" which isn't translated in the 25.0.1364.160-0ubuntu3 has been translated since 2010 in Launchpad... (https://translations.launchpad.net/chromium-browser/translations/+pots/chromium-strings/fr/2/+translate) I don't know if we have found the reason yet, I think we may be far from it -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1182693 Title: [French translation] untranslated strings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-translations/+bug/1182693/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

@Jean-Luc Thirion (jlinho) Thank for your answer. If it only work when the website is open, I have dificulties to understand what is the purpose of it.
