[Bug 759934] Re: [q45] GPU lockup (IPEHR: 0x09ccd180)
I can't reliably reproduce this bug. But it always happened in combination with SQLDeveloper from Oracle. I can work with it for hours without this problem coming up. Sometimes it comes up during normal usage of the app, other times when closing it (but not always). I started with Kernel 2.6.38-7, which produced the same bug. I work now for 2 days with classic w/o effects without problems. I should say, that I usually use Ubuntu classic. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/759934 Title: [q45] GPU lockup (IPEHR: 0x09ccd180) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 759934] Re: [q45] GPU lockup (IPEHR: 0x09ccd180)
Yes, the problem of disapearing window titlebar (and window border) just happened today, with the system updated this morning. I closed an application (also the SQL Developer from Oracle, which is a Java application). But this time there was no error dialog as before (I did not deactivate it), the window title bars of all windows just disapeard. During the update from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 Beta1, an error reported as Bug 753649 happened. Also, the log is attached. ** Attachment added: dpkg.log https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/759934/+attachment/2079932/+files/dpkg.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/759934 Title: [q45] GPU lockup (IPEHR: 0x09ccd180) -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 209609] [NEW] upgrade 7.10 to 8.04beta freeze
Public bug reported: Hi. I tried to upgrade to 8.04beta from 7.10 as is described here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardyUpgrades. When the window Distribution Upgrade open, it starts to prepare for upgrade. After 2 seconds or so the application freezes. I tried this serveral times now, both over the net after a restart and from alternative CD with the same result. I don't know what I should add additionally to the report (logs or so), so please let me know what I should provide. I scimmed quickly through the logs, but did not see something obviously related. I have all updates installed.
