[Bug 1294899] Re: Import saved VPN connection has been Recently Broken
To work-around this issue and still use Network Manager instead of the OpenVPN CLI, follow these steps: 1. Locate an installation of an older version of Ubuntu prior to 14.04 (set up a VM if necessary) 2. Import your saved VPN connection on that system 3. Find the imported Network Manager configuration file in this directory: /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections 4. Copy that file to the same directory on the 14.04 system. Make sure to set permissions to root:root 600, and edit the paths to your certs/key files to taste. You may need to log off or restart to get Network Manager to pick up the new config. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1294899 Title: Import saved VPN connection has been Recently Broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/network-manager/+bug/1294899/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1274320] Re: Error: diskfilter writes are not supported
The work-around from #24 gets rid of the error for me. I timed my boot process after the change and didn't notice any appreciable difference in boot time with the work-around in place. This testing was performed using a recent laptop with an SSD. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1274320 Title: Error: diskfilter writes are not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1274320/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 371289] Re: fail to delete directory over sshfs with nautilus
I'm no longer able to reproduce this issue with Ubuntu 14.04. sshfs got a lot of love recently - it's extra great now! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/371289 Title: fail to delete directory over sshfs with nautilus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/371289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1289428] [NEW] Dual monitor layout is lost after external display disconnect
Public bug reported: I've got a Lenovo ThinkPad T430s laptop. I frequently connect it to external monitors. Upon disconnecting and reconnecting, the dual monitor layout is not restored and must be manually re-configured each time. This is reproducible each time I reconnect to a previously configured external monitor. This may be a regression from Ubuntu 13.10 since I recall it working fine on that release. I'm attaching some screenshots, xrandr output, and my monitors.xml file. [Bug 1274320] Re: Error: diskfilter writes are not supported
This is definitely RAID/LVM related. On my 14.04 system with a ext4 boot partition I don't get the error, but on another system that's fully LVM I do get the error. Has anyone come up with a grub config workaround to prevent the delay on boot? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1274320 Title: Error: diskfilter writes are not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1274320/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
