[Bug 1876450] [NEW] Dependency not installed when installing gambas3

2020-05-02 Thread suKo
Public bug reported:

Running 'sudo apt-get install gambas3' does not install all the packages
required to run the program. It will not launch from the GUI, and when
running it from the console the following error is reported:

gbr3: unable to load component: gb.form.print

The following package when installed fixes the error and allows gambas3
to launch: gambas3-gb-form-print

** Affects: gambas3 (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 1845801] Re: [nvidia] Automatic login fails and then all subsequent logins fail. Killing gnome-session-binary fixes it, or just not using automatic login.

2020-04-23 Thread suKo
As per my earlier comment, I have a GTX 1080. I'm happy to provide any
log information if @Alberto can tell me what he needs to help him figure
out what's going on.

Using an NVIDIA GTX 1080 on 20.04 with the latest daily image I can
confirm this bug still exists. Removing the "splash" option from the
/etc/default/grub file variable GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT seems to fix
the issue. I too encountered this with automatic boot enabled, and it
also occurs no matter which version of the NVIDIA driver I use (except
for the FOSS driver). Unusually, this does not occur on my laptop which
also has an NVIDIA GPU (in this case, a 1650).
