The software use an icon name, the icon comes from the icon theme. Do you have an Ubuntu example to describe, what item, which icon is used and what else you expect? -- Wrong icons used in menu and desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thank you for your bug. What icon theme do you use and what version of ubuntu? Where did you get a 22x22 sudoku.png icon? ** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None = gnome-panel Importance: Undecided = Low Status: Unconfirmed = Needs Info -- Wrong icons used in menu and desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 106259] Re: Wrong icons used in menu and desktop
I am using Tango on Feisty Fawn, however the problem also exists for Human with all but OpenOffice, for which it uses its own icons. Blender's icons are found on http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Fridays under Friday November 3rd, OpenOffice.org's under Friday November 17th, glChess's under Friday November 10th, and Gnome Sudoku's under Friday December 15th. There are also icons for other programs there that are not being used, such as Celestia and gFTP. I am a little confused. Are application icons the choice of the package maintainer, the icon theme or the software developer? -- Wrong icons used in menu and desktop https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/106259 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
