i was able to get dlm working by install linux-image-extra-virtual inside a linode (xen) environment. unfortunately, this caused my boot up to fail approximately 50% of the time. i was unable to discover the exact cause, but believe it was because the boot image because MUCH larger, and there was some sort of corruption issue loading this. Installing linux-image-extra-virtual should provide the dlm module. If this is a must have for virtualized enviroments, we could move it to the main linux-image-virtual, is that the case?
