*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 149661 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149661 I confirm this also linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-13-generic is missing, and until then I cannot use my nvidia card and am using a low res by default :( it just shuts off the monitor - ctrl + alt + backspace brings it backup up, i've had this problem before but i've done a re-check of the updates and still nothing - synaptic reports "linux-restricted-modules-generic: Depends: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-13-generic but it is not installable" arrgghh this sucks i'm without a higher res until then. The release team have not updated the 'restricted-modules-2.6.22' package to 2.6.22-13. If you keep your eye on http://packages.ubuntu.com/gutsy/metapackages/linux-restricted-modules- generic then as soon as 'linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22-13-generic stops showing 'not available' all will be fine.
