Original Dash to Dock extension has a setting to move the Show Applications icon to the top of the dock, please implement this setting in gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock. We discussed it at GUADEC and the application button doesn't do the same than the BFB. In addition, the proximity with Activities will be puzzling to the users and deviates from GNOME Shell upstream Dash experience.
