2008-01-14 Thread tad1073
Also, the driver is a 64 bit driver and the version of ubuntu i am using
is a 32 bit version. how can I check to see if my system is a 64 bit. Is
there a way to move up to the 64 bit version w/o having to install it
from the cd.

[Bug 182495] Re: D-Link Xtreme G wireless card

2008-01-13 Thread Julian Andres Klode
You can always use a driver disk, and point ndisgtk to the driver on the disk.
If the path to the file contains spaces, e.g '/home/user/my dir/driver.inf',
move it to a directory without spaces, e.g '/home/user/my_dir'.

You need to copy the other files (mostly .sys files, sometimes also others),
too.
Else, it does not work

Where do i put the .sys? I tried to install it in Windows Wireless
manager and it returned invalid .inf file, then I tried to install the
inf file but it just froze and I had to manualy shut the system down.
