As of today this is working for me on an R61 with intel 965 graphics. my bluetooth is not enabled. That is what worked for me last night, but now things seem to be working when the radio is on and off. That was the only change I made and it started working. I've upgraded my BIOS to version 7LETB0WW (2.10-1.08). This seemed to get my other two USB ports working, which was another mystery with this laptop.
