[Bug 209495] Re: evdev crashes x server with Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000
I've also had this problem with a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000. All the symptoms seem to be the same---including the feelings of annoyance and/or frustration. -- evdev crashes x server with Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 209495] Re: evdev crashes x server with Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000
Ah, crap, I pretty much duplicated this in bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input- evdev/+bug/229229">#229229 with a few more details (sorry). The main thing being that this appears to have been fixed here : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_activity.cgi?id=14342 I never really used the tilting bits of my mouse but I sometimes tilt the wheel accidentally when pasting. Rather annoying when it kills the server of course. -- evdev crashes x server with Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
