I can confirm this as well, running a fresh installation of hardy beta with nothing extra installed (apart from ccsm). Hi Bálint, bug #202543 does indeed appear related, however I am not sure if it is a dupe. That bug seems to imply Custom was an option and disappeared after following the instructions. This bug implies it never existed. I can't decide if they are duplicates but I commented in the other bug mentioning this one. Happened to me as well, after upgrading to Ubuntu Hardy Beta from Ubuntu Gutsy. Yeah, I get this too. It is strange to have no option selected! I thought before, you could select custom and it would grab and install compizconfig-settings-manager for you and run it.
