Hi,

I'm the maintainer of yum in Debian.

We are using this version of yum in production to bootstrap CentOS from
a Lenny dom0. It does work pretty well.

When you say installing it doesn't work any better than installing the
one in the repositories, I don't understand what repository you are
talking about here. Please be more specific, I don't understand either
when you say the one in the repositories requests a model that exists,
yet insists it is not installed, and the latest version asks for module
yum.

After some discussion with some users, it appears that version 3.2.21 is
broken, but 3.2.23 is working. This is not a surprise at all.

I believe this bug entry can be closed, and maybe 3.2.23 should be
migrated to Jaunty to make it work.
